Every scripted sequence was a perfect composition of design, story, music and (where applicable) intense gameplay. (Spoilers)

This game was brilliant!

I honestly can't think of a game that had SO many heart swelling/engaging moments during cutscenes and story missions.

(SPOILERS - also I'm sure I missed some things)

- Assaulting the breach rift
- Establishing the Inquisition
- Closing the breach
- Going to Val Royeaux for the first time
- Time travel quest with Dorian
- All of In Your Heart, Shall Burn
- The Dawn Will Come camp song
- Finding Skyhold
- Meeting Hawke
- Assault on Adamant
- The Winter Palace Ball (That dance sequence!!!!)
- Dorian's chat post-loyalty mission.
- Sera's chat on the rooftop about cookies
- Blackwall's revelation
- EVERYTHING will Morrigan - she is one godly creation of a character - so many layers and so mysterious!
- Varric's quests and chats
- Final battle.

All of this connecting us to the series but none of it felt like fan service either!

Absolutely fantastic, Phenomenal, I am absolutely bursting with enjoyment from this achievement in escapism (with all the right notes of emotional impact) in this game!

P.S. Here's an example of what I mean - you literally battle the GREY WARDENS, :o , for a dragon age enthusiast, that is a BIG deal.

I agree. This game was a wonderful experience for me. I may complain about some of the bugs I had and PC issues, but that's only because I love it and want it to be perfect. :) I had chills during the scene where Solas leads you to Skyhold for the first time. The music in the game is beautiful. I also love all the characters. I honestly can't say a bad thing about it. They all have flaws but in a good way that makes them awesome. Also, the dragon fights never get boring for me. :D

This post reminds of the other post that was here a few days ago.

The one where there was a link to a company which is paid by EA to put positive reviews on various froums.  In fact they put up 5,000 posts a day that praise any and all EA games in various forums around the internet.   They are paid by EA to do this.

I was wondering if these two posts are linked somehow. . . .

I romanced her so maybe, but damn, it was so simple yet so heartwarming and engaging.

Yeah the story stuff was well done, it's just unfortunate everything around it was so empty... We need more story, like replay origins, you'll get more cut scenes and cinematics in the first two hours then in 10 of dai...

Some of us just love the game! :)

Agreed with the entire list. Also agree that Solas needs to be added to it!

The entire Skyhold sequence is probably my favourite scene.

Yep more story is never a bad thing. It's pretty much why I play Bioware games. I could have done without all the fetch quests, but at the end of the day I still had a lot of fun. In my subsequent play throughs I've just decided not to go about collecting shards. I didn't mind the astariums though, since there was little pieces of lore hidden in them that I found interesting - like the connection between Dumat and Mythal was really curious.

The godliness in that scene was incredible.

Story and especially your companions were by far the best part of the game and the main reason that helped me force myself to continue playing it through its tedious parts. The cast of characters is imo one of the BioWare's best to this day, only ME2 can match it. The game has more interesting companion quests than, again, any other BioWare game except ME2. Especially Dorian's, Blackwall's, Varric's and Iron Bull's quests were great. Never have I ever spent more time thinking about a decision in a game than during the Demands of the Qun. The presentation of the choice was a bit letdown (me standing on a hill few meters away from a group of venatori I could defeat with ease), but the implications of that decision and preparation for the quest (hanging out with Chargers and talking to Bull in the tavern)? Amazing. Also don't let us forget all the Sit in Judgement quests :)

I admit that the fight in Haven and the pproach to Skyhold is nice.  Unfortunately, in my opinion, the horrendous gameplay drags the game down to the point where even that cannot be enjoyed.

i cried inside when I chose to appease the Ben Hassarath instead of making Iron Bull Tal Vashoth. I knew I only did it to secure the Inqusition with the Qunari (cause no one wants to be on their bad side) but the way that Bull didn't blame you for it made me feel even worse about it...

Yeah, Iron Bull's reaction was just heartbreaking, but it was almost equally sad when I opted for saving the Chargers, tho I feel he was happier in the end. Too bad we couldn't have him decide and just go with it.

My reasoning for the Charges was that at that point in the game I don't need an alliance with Qunari, I already have every other nation in Thedas at my disposal for fighting Corypheus and I certainly don't need to be connected to Qunari or god forbid letting them willingly gain any foothold in southern Thedas. Moreover it was their fault the mission was a failure, their intelligence screwed up and now I am expected to pay a price for their mistakes? If that is their idea of an alliance, then no thanks. Also, I don't know if I got this from a codex or a dialogue, but Qunari don't hold alliances in a high regard and have no problem with breaking them when it benefits them. After defeating Corypheus, Qunari are the single biggest threat to the rest of the world and if the Inquisition persists, it will be the main force that will stand against this spreading communist hell :) Also, I loved Bull so much, I couldn't let him go back, being "re-educated" again and becoming an automaton for the Qun.

not gunna lie...the elf Ben Hassarath was my deciding factor. He was cute. And the fact that "technically" I was working with Tallis. And I was scared they would march their armies on the Inquisition or possibly try to assassinate Bull. Though I did feel completely heartless...I'm sorry Bull :( <3

While I personally loved the DLC and Felicia's performance, in the end I hated Tallis for playing me :D Still I wouldn't mind meeting her again.

If you find either Bull decision heartbreaking try taking Cole with you when you have Bull in your party.  They have some banter that makes it better- sort of.

More story. We have enough wilderness for two games, and paridoxically no cities (val Royeaux was one screen, and I was disappointed) but we need substance. Hard painful choices, cut scenes, great music and great dialogue.
