I honestly can't think of a game that had SO many heart swelling/engaging moments during cutscenes and story missions.
and then
- Final battle.
Care to explain please?

Is this for those romancing her only? Or have I missed this and now have a good excuse to start another run through
My second character, a male human warrior, became good friends with Sera, and they spent a lot of time on the roof. ![]()
I enjoyed the final battle, but I was hoping for some large scale army stuff. The inquisition had the most underused army in history, even after all these years they have yet to top the scene at ostagar.
What about the Assault on Adamant? That was spectacular. Inquisitor was never going to be in amongst the main forces. I thought they did a great job with hitting all the different strengths of the inquisition.
This post reminds of the other post that was here a few days ago.
The one where there was a link to a company which is paid by EA to put positive reviews on various froums. In fact they put up 5,000 posts a day that praise any and all EA games in various forums around the internet. They are paid by EA to do this.
I was wondering if these two posts are linked somehow. . . .
It would be nice if people saw where improvements could be made where applicable. Nothing is perfect and saying that something is perfect causes the creators behind it to grow complacent and conceited.
OP, at the very least please add, "don't let it go to your head". Otherwise Bioware will not strive to do better.

You don't think hearing praise for things that I liked encourages them to make more games with that type of content? Why does that predicate not striving to make better and better games? Nothing wrong with providing feedback with what I genuinely enjoyed. Positivity is where it's at

P.S. I'm not paid to write posts, I'm just a fan and genuinely found this game a gem, a symphony for those of us who loved the layered, deep story and characters with interesting themes amongst an escapism setting.
Is it safe to assume you don't really like this game? At least by your comments.
You can have criticism for a game and love it still. As for me, I am an angry fan. They had so much development for the characters you really could empathize with every one of them, even vivienne. The problem I have is that the world was full but filled with "why am I even here?" I didn't feel like that proud thump in my chest whenever I took or faced corypheous.. But that's not to say I didn't enjoy it all..
The assault on haven, chancellor rhodrick went from ******* to hero for all the followers, Mage side more so. Leading people through the valley before perishing. Cole told you his final thoughts before fading. Wow. Powerful stuff
Bull had you meet with a veteran and a rookie of the inquisition army as "Griggs", I did so just before the siege of adamant. They thought you were someone familiar but didn't quite know you were the inquisitor. Meeting the soldiers that fight for you, possibly going to die for you.. Nice touch.
The siege of adamant, and better, the war in the wilds. I loved it, getting to see some of your guys go from inexperienced in combat, veterans living and becoming hardened warriors.
Characters in general had good development.. But here's what I thought, I did not feel attached at all to my character. Sure he had some good moments. I felt untouchable, like no one, and especially corypheous could really hurt me. I didn't have anyone from my past haunt me or a great foe, other than the generic final boss. The two side villains, Samson and calpernia, I felt they were a great missed opportunity.
And thus far I've only stated general story things for criticism. I did not enjoy combat in this game. I do not enjoy the "guard" system, I did not enjoy the insignificance of mage damage or lack of buffs outside of barrier.. Pc controls being lack luster and general ui problems. How vast and beautiful the world is yet it feels so purposeless in areas. I don't like how small the tactical view feels, or how the AI forgets commands when taking or dealing an attack..
Bugs, bugs are still a problem 3 months later. And the patches they run, even if they create more problems.. Are focusing on fixing minor things such as class balances and single player advantages that don't infringe on other persons playing, (duplications/gold). RNG and tier 3 chests, why can't I just buy the schematics I want? I enjoy crafting! Just not in this game! Yet game breaking bugs still persist and people regularly crash on pc versions.. File saves getting corrupted for systems regularly.. Things that really infringe on customers ability to play the damn game..
So, we didn't have that magical experience, when we know we could have easily. Even if they aren't fast about patching, would have loved some communication like some companies do, live streams and what not or just interacting with genuine feedback or suggestion threads that aren't about gripes like I've listed. They don't appear to care, and I'll feel sore as a result of the product that could have been..

Constructive criticism is more useful than arse kissing. Being told you're fantastic doesn't tell you where you can improve.

If you're not paid, than there is no problem with you posting 'don't let it get to your heads' part. ![]()
Guys, if the OP simply loves the game, let him say it in a way he wants. There is no need for him to add "don'let it get to your heads" part. Not every post needs to be built around constructive criticism. There are a few aspects of the game that BioWare should get credit for and it does not always have to be burried under feedback regarding all those things they did wrong, nor there is a need to diminish the praise by adding such phrases ![]()

Telling them what they did well in a sea of people saying every aspect of their game is horrible is pretty useful, a lot moreso than another ragepost spouting the exact same thing said 10,000 times before.
Not to mention he was mentioning ONE aspect of the game. Can we please not act like he's wrong for having complete positive opinions about the story when many of you have completely negative opinions about the gameplay/UI.
Maybe the storyline is quite alright, the graphics are very good, different regions are truly amazing, characters are to be praised.
I AGREE!
BUT there's a but, yeah make that a bigger BUT!:
- Miserable tactical camera, colliding with all surroundings. (The BW devs should take a look at Divinity OS = fading surroundings so you can see everything you do)
- In combat all AI flying off and jumping on to bridges and or scaffolds. (Falling through and jumping through)
- Flying Giants and other flying AI (that shouldn't be flying). (Giants losing HP while flying 40000+ HP down to 10000+HP)
- AI spawning from under your nose, better say from up your nose because they fall down from the sky.
- Characters and AI colliding with eachother, bushes, trees, branches, stairs, rocks, pebbles.
- Deluxe Edition that comes with total not usefull stuff, all crap.
- The minimised interaction with your characters when it comes to development of abilities and skills.
- I also do not really see the usefulness of the Dragon Age Keep. (I've been in the beta but i am questioning myself why)
- Skills that seem to work but don't. (Especially in MP)
- To make it more simple: The rest of the bugs and glitches in SP and MP.
I'm waiting for THE decent patch before i return to being a fan-boy. Bioware truly lost a big fan! ![]()
And to BIOWARE/EA i'd like to say:
Why some have to hijack threads just to complain i don't know.If people like the game they are paid by bioware now...just goes to show you the mentality of the complainers.

I wrote: "Maybe the storyline is quite alright, the graphics are very good, different regions are truly amazing, characters are to be praised. ![]()
I AGREE!"
So don't come with hijacking a topic because it isn't.
If i have to follow up on your opinion on topics the only thing i was allowed to write in this topic would have been something like:
- I agree.
- I am with you on that.
- Copy that.
- Thumbs up!
- You are so right!
If that's the case (or what we want to be the case), we should ask Bioware to make it possible for OP-s to close the topic right after they wrote it or let OP-s moderate their topics.
I just wrote a few extra side notes. And i also said i used to be a DA fan-boy. Posting what OP posted is asking for reactions, negative or positive. Comes with a forum. ![]()
But an extra-extra side note is that i don't really get what OP is trying to tell us with his avatar. ![]()
Benman1964, I believe what Hamsterkiker meant is that we don't need every thread turned into complaining / giving feedback about every possible thing the game does poorly, there are many of those already and many more will be yet posted. Nobody is saying that you have to agree with the OP or with the praise of some aspects of the game or else be silent, just that your "side notes" were completely unnecessary in this thread.
Is this for those romancing her only? Or have I missed this and now have a good excuse to start another run through
No but she has to be attracted to you. I had this experience with a female qunari roque, but I didn't pursue the romance.
I found the cutscenes mostly satisfying, but the cinematic efforts failed in many places; the pacing was off, the cuts were too quick or too slow… perhaps the worst example was the initiating sequence of the final fight. That made absolutely no sense, and spending about 15–20 seconds more on it would have fixed most of it.
It’s not bad, and there were several moving scenes, but film direction is an art.

Not sure what you mean here. No good art that I'm aware only take 15 to 20 seconds to make it better. Unless you meant 15 to 20 seconds of content, which an artist could spend weeks/months on.
But an extra-extra side note is that i don't really get what OP is trying to tell us with his avatar.
I got swept up with the complaining during post-release ME3, I felt I was disrespectful of the devs and the teams in general, so my avatar is an apology to them so they know I am sorry for that behavior if they ever see older posts of mine or whatever that I hadn't managed to delete. It's amazing what the mob mentality can do to someone, but I feel I experienced it and am sad I was part of that problem.
I'd love the game too if they fixed a few key issues..
