Well, The only problem is that if this is really 100% cooperative, then shouldn't be a "on kill" proc to begin with, it should always be "on enemy killed" or "on assist" so you all working together and shouldn't matter that much who deals the last blow.
HoK is a mild example but a 'I wasn't there' not proccing in periously can be deathly.
The same hapened in me3mp with vorcha and krogan characters who get survival bonuses for landing the last blow.
My sugestion for the next game is no more on kill skills.

"I was never here" is not necessary for perilous.

Nothing is totally necessary for perilous but that is beyond my point.

Archers and hunters are great DPS. Unless they are the type of player who must shoot the mobs before a tank can get aggro, then they die and spam "over here" wanting a revive. I don't revive these clowns. They either learn or die.
@ OP : suck it up. Yes, I know it's a pain, many a time I have had poison / sleep / taunt interrupted by a kill streak happy Legolamb wannabe. On the other hand, I do exactly the same thing when I play shooty mc shooterson classes. It's not going to change unless you have a mic and can ask the person in question to stop it. Even then it's doubtful, shooty classes just gotta shoot.

Seems like another L2P issue.
I am FOR archers assisting with low-hp targets. Those public Kataris should step up their game.

I get this kind of issue when I play keeper on perilous. my damage is low enough already and I get archers or aoe mages stealing all my kills so I don't get my health. granted I should have barrier on constantly, but I occasionally get hit without it and lose a third of my health. It's okay with rogues as often you are 1shotting people anyway, and warriors are generally close enough to get the last hit in but mages get a hard time here.
I have a similar thing issue with filling barriers when playing as an arcane warrior and another mage is in the room messing up the enemy grouping with aoe that doesn't work for me, especially another AW who may "use" the enemies I was leaving alive for chain lightning barrier recharge. also the same sort of thing playing as assassin and aoe/chain lightning users getting the last little hit so I don't get instant stealth cooldown. I use flank attack with assassin here just to have an escape plan if someone takes my kill.
considering some classes are more support & CC focused than kills, definitely agree HoK really should be on any kill or kill assist and then maybe dropped to a lower amount of health recharge to compensate. then again it you could say that the risk of kill-steals balances out the potential OP-ness of HoK.

Sure why not? I'm not up in ams about it but if you're built around abilities that activate on kill I can see getting a little salty when an overzealous teammate leaves your cheese hanging in the wind.
Then again excessively efficient at killing isn't something I tend to list as a negative trait in a part member.

Hi everyone,
I'd like to know how much of an issue kill stealing is with archers.
The problem at hand:
An archer using long shot (resp. archers lance) which shoots enemies that are low on health and kills them, stealing
kills that could otherwise heal party members that have the "heal on kill" ability (through items or skill).
An archer can very well control the initial target of long shot, but not necessarily the targets after that, as
long shot (resp. the upgrade) hits mulitple targets.
So should an archer abstain from using long shot ? Always? Only in certain circumstances?
Or should they not care at all about that?
What are your experiences with archers that steal kills? How should they be dealt with? Any advice?
Kill faster.

yeah it's annoying but if everyone is killing fast, you aren't too bothered about your HoKs and various other things going off.
ie when I get annoyed about not getting hok for my keeper, it's just because I am missing just 1/4 health. only gets truly irritating when it's zone 5 and you're in a team who isn't having an easy time so want as much hok as possible so you can stay alive and keep helping with barriers.

I think people need to remember that at the end of wave 5 we are all getting the same experience whether you killed them or not. Sure you don't get HoK, but we all started the game with no HoK and survived just fine, a lot of us still do it now believe it or not.

Not stealing....
Smart Archers are playing the "Party Boost - Critical return stamina build" so we can spam skills over and over for faster runs. So it's not my fault if I get in 6 shots to your 2 swings because I built properly and mow the mobs down on you...
As others said:
KILL FASTER
Cuz I sure in the hell do, my archer after level 10 spams skills so fast that mobs are like butter.....Spread and killed...

what were talking about ?
I know one guy who realy safes his longshot and all the nice stuff for the last 10% health of the mobs... but i even do know keepers who think they are real killers with their blizy blizz stuff... we all do know the 2h wielding leeeeroy jenkins in this game and the F4 secret spammers.
At the end i give a fu** but when such ppl ruin the match because they su** at teamplay and just going for the kills.. to feel brave.. okay so be it.
But i still wonder why they even join random matches... i mean serious.. to impress newbies ?
