So I bought the Orlesian Battle mage armor schematic from Val Royeaux and crafted it.  It changed the color of my hands to the color of the material in the defense slot.  On one set I put dragonling scales for fire defense and gave it to Vivienne. Now her hands are red.  I crafted a set for myself using gurgut webbing and it turned my hands green like The Hulk.

 

I don't have any pictures right now but is this a known problem?

OK, I'm really dumb. I guess they're supposed to be gloves?  They just didn't look like gloves if you just look at the hands. They look too tight.
