I just bought this to play it for old time sakes and was wondering if you can install mods like TuTu and others like the original game of old

BGEE uses the same engine as BG2EE, so there's no need for TuTu.  There are quite a few mods that have been adapted for use on the EE - have a look at their forums to see what's available, e.g. here's the page for BGEE.
