So speaking with Iron Bull he brings how Qunari are descendants of the Kossith and that they looked different. Also that they have an affinity for Dragons. Also it's said Kossith had a colony in the South that was overran by dark spawn. I don't think Dark spawn have been seen in Qunari homeland.
I'm thinking is it possible the Kossith could have been kin to Elves. I really have nothing to go buy besides the Quanaris ears and the face that it's said Elves lived all over the world in Ancient times

We do not have much to prove this theory, yet it is far from completely impossible...
