Alright, so here's the deal -

I purchased the CD key from Direct2Drive.

I downloaded the multi-5 version of Mass Effect for PC on bittorrent since the Direct2Drive servers are so damn slow.

It allowed me to install and register my key here. However, whenever I try to launch, I get the failed to authenticate cd key-something) error.

i had similer problem sep i have the dvd in the drive right now and it still "fails"
