I think this is a bug. I went to the Hinterlands to take care of the Carta leader. My party was my character, Iron Bull, Vivienne, Varric. After that I took Dorian to meet his father.
When I got back to Skyhold, both my seeker and my grey warden's crafted shields were at zero armor even though they did not take part in the missions.
When searching the internet I saw one other post about the same problem.
Is this a bug? If so, will there be a fix soon?

It is a bug introduced in the latest patch #3. All shields crafted prior to this patch show armor value as 0 and the attributes screen reflects that. Though it might be just a visual bug and the game still could count your armor with the correct values.
No words at all from BioWare about the next patch or possible hotfix that I have seen or heard, but I could easily miss something.
