Desire, without doubt. Though not desire for sex - that's actually rather unimportant for her - but knowledge. A desire demon dangling a piece of ancient secret knowledge before her eyes, that's an uncomfortable thought. Such an offer, made at a time when she's extremely frustrated in her desire, such as right after not drinking from the Well of Sorrows, would be a serious temptation.

Whichever one is actively trying to eat him at a given time.

Sloth! Others don't have a chance. Especially not Rage or Pride which are way too far from pleasant slothness.

Desire with knowledge offer sounds interesting though, if that meant getting storylines and codex that was otherwise unavailable. It's still somehow unappealing idea... There's something likeable in Sloth instead; maybe they're just using the type of manipulation that might fool me. Maybe it's that Sloth demon was one of the first characters I met in Dragon Age (mage in Origins on my 1st playthrough) and they're therefore big part of my first impression. Knowledge also often comes from sitting down a lot while reading, so don't know if Desire would be able to sell its information as effectively, even if I enjoy moving around in game and reality. It's the calm mindset.

None of the demons have been able to make their point effectively yet though, and I almost wish resisting their offers would feel more meaningful since they're there anyway and I always take time to listen to what they say.

I like demons overall. I like smart enemies with their mind games and eerie & uncanny presence. (Killing animals in their own forest makes me feel sorry sometimes, divert from that is welcomed.)

In fight, Terror sounds pretty bad for my fave inquisitor, in case conversations would affect handicaps in battles.

Pride demon for my human mage. He's way too proud for his own good. His proud of his abilities, he's proud of his heritage, he's proud of his magic as he sees it as a blessing and less a curse, and he gets jolly whenever people praise him. Make him feel important, appreciated, needed, and you will inflate his ego. I'm roleplaying hims this way so after Adamant he will feel ridiculously humbled and the very thing that he felt made him stand out and special, being the Herald, takes a huge hit and throws off his entire sense of self-worth because he'll start to believe he is the Herald until he gets his memories back. Then he'll be a depressed mess.

Desire Demon for my elven mage. Desire for knowledge, desire for a home for his people, desire to make elves more accepted by people. If he was promised the secrets of ancient elven history, he would sacrifice almost anything to obtain it.

My Qunari....hunger, easily. He's got quite the appetite.

My Adaar? Desire demon easily but then all he desires is The Iron Bull, preferably in private.

so the demon would promise him two Iron Bulls? The real one and the Demon one?

And my Adaar would fall for it. Yes I did get a dwarf archer through the Crestwood dragon but, jsut cna't get my head around how a non mage isn't freaking out over the anchor and, seems to know just how to use magic.

If such a demon exixts in DA, a demon that feeds off deep remorse and self-doubt.

Pride demon, the way he rushes into battle thinking he can tank solo when he's just a squishy mage. Honestly, he probably gave Blackwall

and Cassandra every wrinkle and grey hair!

Ohhhh this is a tough one.  Great question though.

I want to say for my mage, that maybe, just maybe, Benjamin would be vulnerable to Despair Demons.

Though I have a hard time seeing this because he has survived the Circle Rebellion.  Survived months and months alone, just himself, out in the wilderness hiding from Templars and his Fellow Mages, and has done a lot of stuff.

So maybe...Pride?  He is sarcastic and confident in his own abilities so maybe a Pride Demon could use that to their advantage.

With Kara either Desire or Despair, for lots of the same reasons.

She lacks confidence when it comes to her ability to lead.  Despite being a noble she shunned the position.  Despite being gifted she has been an individual and a loner and never really led anything before, not to mention an organization with the size and the importance of the Inquisition.  She is talented, but all this is new to her so she doubts her ability to succeed.  She also does not want to fail her mission.

Either type of demon can really play off those doubts and desires for her to be the hero Thedas needs.

Despair demon, most likely. My elven mage's basic emotion is fear. Not to mention the actual despair demon on the game is scary as hell.

Fear for my main Lavellan. She has a serious lack of faith in her own leadership ability, and tends to defer to others a lot. She's terrified that she'll screw up the Inquisition, and everyone will see it was just a big accident, not some divine intervention. It was the same before she was Inky. She was convinced she would never become as great a Keeper as Istmaethoriel.

Pride for my other Lavellan, for much the same reasons as Merrill. She wants to help her people, but she's also determined to take the burden onto her own shoulders. She's also tremendously stubborn. Her pride in the Dalish is one of her main characteristics, though it takes a serious dent after the Temple of Mythal. After that, she's more likely to succumb to a rage or despair demon, I'd think.

I'm not sure about my Cadash, but maybe Pride again. She really embraced that whole Herald thing. While she still sees herself as just the conduit for Andraste's work, she can still get a little big-headed about it "I forgive you in the name of Andraste" etc etc.

For my guy, probably sloth or something like that. Basically my characters are always very methodical, indecisive, and easy sidetracked. Trying to help all people who need genuine help, he loses sight of the main goal at times.

I don't know about all of them but I've got a human mage and a dwarf warrior that I think would be vulnerable to a despair demon since they did kind of get someone killed that they still feel guilt over my dwarf got her younger sister killed and my mage accidentally made an apprentice take his own life, so I'd say despair for sure for them.

I get the feeling (if such a thing existed) that a Guilt demon would be particularly devastating to a lot of people.
