Can you prove that the majority are experiencing problems? I have not experienced many problems playing on PC. Neither has my husband. A friend of mine plays on PS3 and his biggest complaint was small font (which gave him an excuse to get a bigger tv). Another friend of mine plays on PC and she did have to upgrade to play the game but that's because she was below minimum requirements (tri-core vs. quad-core). I know that's a pretty small pool but so far so good in my camp.
My friends and I could very well be the exception to the rule, but at this point I'm inclined to think that most don't have too many problems and the BSN houses a vocal minority.
I hope this doesn't sound snarky, totally don't mean it to be *but* you're using anecdotal evidence, and it's a poor way to come to a decision on well, anything. You can't argue 'because I, nor any of the people around me, are having problems, this must mean the problem must be small', because it's a nonsensical conclusion.
You could just peruse the technical support forums for one:

Another better way to see if the problems are or may be widespread and to have hard data about it is to recreate the problem itself, something like the 'constant drumming in Skyhold' is easy, because it's widely documented. But things like game breaking bugs, such as the one I had where speaking to Varric to continue the main questline CTD'd me without fail in my first playthrough, is much harder because it didn't on my reroll because I happened to choose a different class and world state.
