I'm still somewhat new to the game, I have played for just over a week and I'm wondering what would be the best possible grip for Punched by the Maker, also, after putting an upgrade into something, can we replace it by something else ? For weapon runes, is there an element considered better ?
Punched by the Maker best grip possible?

...but...uhm... yes, you can replace upgrades with something else; yet as with runes, the former ones will be "wasted" once you apply them. Personally, I prefer Lightning damage because of the splash damage debuff it gives; and almost no enemy is spcifically resistant to it. It's noteworthy though that this effect often bugs out and will not occur, but I'm idealistic enough not to have my plans consider it too much.

Those are good information, does strength do anything for archers ? if I make a cheap grip while I wait to make a much better one, the tier 1 grip metal part mostly give strength or constitution.
Just so you know I also have Longbow of the Griffon and The Trepanner's Requital ! :3 Perseverance too but it didn't seem as good. ^^

for a non-warrior strength provides a 1% bonus on damage to guard per this thread

I recommend ornate grips with:
- Willpower
- Critchance
or if you get enough Cunning from an amulet, promotions and armor upgrades
- Willpower
- Critdamage
Strength is not recommended for Archers. If you are going to use a rugged bow grip, craft constitution & cunning or constitution & dexterity, if your critchance feels high enough for you.

Pretty much this.
For a Hunter, if your flanking skills are good:
-Willpower
-Flanking Damage
