Commendation chest has been stated to have better drop rates even if only slightly. It seems your guaranteed at-least 1 ilvl20 and a rare or an ilvl20 rare or above even. I'd assume Victory chests are similar.

Who told you that?

 

The highest item i got from the Victory chest was lvl 12, this week commendation chest was the same not one item above lvl15 for it. This is like people saying higher prestige will increase your chance of getting higher items or opening chest in perilous lobby will give better chance of getting higher items.

 

It's a free large chest and an RNG roll, lucky u get high items, not lucky u get bad low items.

You still sound sad. I don't understand why your so invested in what's happening on another platform that has nothing to do with you. Anyways if it will help. When my hunter goes an extra 2 pairs of hands and i can equip the 3rd longbow of griffon i got(thank you hacker, kind gift really) I'll hop on over to whatever platform your playing and put you out of your misery. Alternatively, just get over it.

Yeah i checked other topic. Maybe its just a guaranteed rare. Did you get any rares from your victory chest?

Anyways I'm just taking guesses here,I've noticed personally getting better loot in commendation chests compared to normal.

The in game description from the weekend challenge one states something like batter chance or better items.  I don't think I noticed anything like that on the regular event chests.

I got rare lvl 12 item , everything else is below lvl 12 white lol.

The Commendation chest seems to regularily give out a rare in the third level range in each chest, so it has a more consistent loot reward than a basic large chest. 

As for this Victory Chest: It gave me Sulevin's Blade. That is certainly RNG, seeing some drops in this thread, but I will gladly take it.

I've never gotten anything of note from a commendation chest, Victory chest just gave me a Longbow of the Griffon though, my third and the lowest damage of the three, but I guess anecdotal evidence from this thread means that ilvl 20+ uniques are likely.

Seriously though.. a unique shield other than Wintersbreath (which I've also found three times) would be nice.
