Shouldn't there at least be patch 3 for consoles before BW goes to patch 4..

 

I didn't know consoles hadn't been patched with 3 yet. Although unless I'm mistaken I think patch 3 was exclusively to fix PC problems.

It is a fine thing to see a game ruined because people complain.

 

while I understand this statement, I don't agree. Customers complain all the time--about many things other than video games. Everytime they do, change is issued. The real question is, is the change good or bad? Bioware, at least, seems to listen to it's fanbase and tries to make changes for them. This is more than I can say for other companies. Sure, they might get some things wrong here and there, but by listening to what people want, this allows them to make a better product that people will buy.

 

At least that's my take on it.

Hopefully not, I have been waiting for this patch ages. I though it was released first for PC since it doesn't have to go through confirmation from Sony and Microsoft unlike with consoles.

I guarantee once they know the hotfix has fixed the issues with Patch 3, and not created any more, they will send out Patch 3 to Microsoft & Sony for Cert. Us PC players are the patch beta testers. Console players should consider themselves fortunate.

PC player can get as many patches sent to us as possible unlike the console players with their certifications and fees holding the patches back.

Patch 4 already? Unless I'm doing something wrong I don't think my xb1 has downloaded the first yet. Does it work differently on next gen consoles where it doesn't automatically start when the game begins to load? Does it run behind the scenes or something?

Seeing as how Patch 3 fixed nothing I actually cared about (and instead patched exploits which I didn't want fixed in the first place) I say bring on Patch 4.  But if Patch 4 doesn't fix the MOTHER LOVING ANIMATION PROBLEMS WITH MY QUNARI ARCHER...

I'm finishing 'Champions of the Just' and when facing the boss my character is now standing still though I can still move and attack?

 

EDIT: Also, why is it that whenever a crowd cheers it sounds as if they were far away?
