This game was delayed by over a year. It was shipped late, not early.
It seems EA is actually delaying games to counter the outcry of forcing devs to ship games early. Battlefield Hardline was supposed to launch last year, but its been delayed aswell.
I played a few games with lol-reaver after the unknown patch. Did not notice nothing special there. But it looked like there is some health gain after spamming rampage and dragon rage on a spawn. I don't have no HoK items so must have come from somewhere.
I'm happy to see that Bioware is taking the oppertunity to use the PC as the testing platform, hopefully right after they start communicating with us about it so we can help them test accordingly.
I think part of why PC users get that "guinea pig" treatment is because of the PC's ease of patching / updating. Console certification can be convoluted and problematic.

I actually welcome this. There is no reason why PC should wait for console patches to come through. If a fix has been found, whack it in the game.

Slightly less broken patch 3 I take it

How does one patch differ some much between users.
Some users are reporting (myself included) 90 MB size, others 70 MB, others 150 MB, and finally others 400 Mb size.
Like are we all getting different versions lol?

This just in: EA's attempt to put out patch notes was delayed due to bugs in the PA system.
On topic, my update also had a 400 MB "preparing update" portion, followed by a ~70 MB "downloading" portion. Go figure.

~400mb (37something actually) is what one sees during the verification, and then it installs the missing part, an update (70.82mb in my case).
Where does this 70\90\150 difference come from - it's still a mystery. Could be different regions, could be mods or something...
Well, that means this patch is a 400mb crapload of trash. Whatever issue this game has, it is second to the connectivity ones.

...and they still needed more time.
At this point we can probably chalk it up to management wanting a project with a scope that was beyond their ability to deliver or underestimating what it would take to get working with Frostbite 3.

See, I've never complained about the contents or lack of a patch. I have made it clear that communication should be better, hence Community Manager.
And I can fervently hope that the reason behind the lack of patch notes is because they sacked the bloke responsible for the Patch 3 notes.
If not, they should sack the people responsible for the sacking, then commence with the sacking of those that were supposed to be sacked.

Im on PC (NA) and got 92MB to be exact, alot of people in the official Patch thread in announcement got 70 MB. Some of you guys got 400 MB got figure

My completed download was around 70mb. Nothing's worse or amazingly better, from what I can see, so it's all good. I ain't even mad.

Kind of not very polite to make us download a digital update(and I don't know about you, but my DAI wouldn't load without it) and not even tell us what kind of update it is.
I think Bioware got that Stealth upgrade that removes all debilitating effects
