It's funny, she's 10 years old and has never sat on my desk like that before. Usually sits in the chair with me. But she is OBSESSED with the mini-map. And if I get to a loading screen she turns around and meows at me until the mini-map is back up and spinning around : P

Mine doesn't sit in front of the TV like that, but she does like to sit on my lap, draped across both my arms so I can't easily manipulate the controller and squirm around until I pet her, especially when I'm doing something like the hellblazing missions in SR4 expansion that require dexterity. I don't know how many times I have plunged head first into lava because someone wanted snuggles.

Well, this happens whenever I play
This is our new kitty, we've had her for about a month now, here name is Strumpan (meaning "the sock"). She is holding my indexfinger and, even though you can't see it in the picture has her backpaw on my mouse.
After a while she falls asleep
Our older cat, Fisen (means, the Fart - oh no, we do not give our cats weird names..) is not as interested

Looks like a Tuxedo kitty...our cat Savio was a Tuxedo...miss him.
My cats would lay down on the keyboard if I let them...that's why I have to hold them when I'm playing. Sure, I could shut the door without them in the room but they are 16 and have health issues. I'm not about to make them sad...they will be spoiled to the end.

She's actually a turtoiseshell
but oh, tuxedos are so cute ![]()
Mine lays in my lap, but with one paw on the keyboard/my hand and one on the mouse/my hand ![]()
The other one used to sit and "write" on my keyboard when he was younger (when everyone was using msn Messenger)
He would have whole conversations with my friends xD
Right now I am abandoned though, they have just eaten and have fallen asleep on the couch.
Of course you have to spoil them!
Especially if they are not feeling well ![]()

My cats love it when I play DA:I. I play on the console, so its a little easier to manage. However, there was a time my cat walked across my console and somehow put it in sleep mode....

I love this thread! I wish I had a cat, I am trying to talk my landlord into it. So far no luck though.

My mama cat use to be very loving and do stuff like this, but then she disappeared. Her daughter and son (the only two we kept) don't do any thing like that. The boy cat won't come to me, and the female cat, the only time she is loving is when I'm trying to go to sleep.

It's kinda funny that mine never did this until DAI. She's fascinated with the mini-map for in it for some reason. I'm not sure she had ever been on my desk before at all until I picked up DAI, LOL.
I hear you on the trying to sleep part! They do the funniest stuff sometimes when I'm trying to sleep - from chewing on my wife's hair to trying to lay on the top of my head.
Sorry to hear your cat disappeared : (

Mine props herself up onto my shoulder, then purrs and drools onto my neck. It's very not fun

Cats and sleep... Both my cats feel a need to sleep next to me. The big one wants to sleep "back to back" which is really cozy until he turns around and presses his paws against my back, usually with his claws out. Meanwhile the tiny one wants to sleep on my throath under my chin and on the other side sleeps my boyfriend who is a very heavy sleeper and likes to sleep reall close. I sleep like an S each night and Wake up with back pains every morning (I do have an injured back) but...it's just so endearing. You can't simply make the cats leave ![]()
Oh and of course we have the mandatory "what you doing, why are you sleeping?" around 4... Thankfully now since we have two cats they have started bothering each other at that time xD

I've had 7 cats, and each one drooled when they purred heavily while getting petted, or when just really happy, I guess she's really happy looking over my shoulder while I try to sleep. They actually drool more then my 6 dogs do (I have a lot of animals, my bird doesn't drool though)

Yes, they do. Some cats are well known for getting so deeply entranced when being loved/petted that they drool like a faucet. Its a sort of hypnotic state of extreme relaxation for them. Its not terribly different from how some people drool in their sleep
Also, to the OP, beautiful cat. I've always wanted a patchy calico like that. I currently have a Seal-Lynx Point Ragdoll:

Cute!!!
Wish my dog would do that... however, she's as bad as my ex. Hates it when I play video games. ![]()
