How were you ever able to salvage a unique bow, that is obviously one of the best - because you had a blue that had slightly more damage - is beyond me. Baffling. Atleast check the internet first before doing something that foolish!

I really hope you get it tough. I feel for you. Keep grinding! :)

It was a late night, and I was tired. It happens. The victory chest got me a Bow of the Gryphon though(ilv21), so it's not all bad.

Well, as far as I'm concerned it is a stronger bow - so you dont really need Trepanners. I take it back then. I dont feel for you ;).

I have a rare Dwarven Mace (lvl 21 or 22) that has the explode feature. Absolutely love it. Rack up quick a few kills in Threatening with it.

The Dwarven Crusher (not the lower level Dwarven Rock Crusher) is the one I know of and use. Most people here are talking about explode on kill for bows but try this one-hander out on your Templars. Wrath of Heaven and Spell Purge combo may be The Nuke, but add in this explode on kill mace and you have The Super-Nuke! The damage radius and cascading explosions will keep a smile on your face.

love it. I see my legionnaire grab most kills on a regular basis in threatening with dwarven crusher now. not so great in perilous where most enemies can soak up the 75% damage hit easily and you don't have many huge damage one-hand skills to work off of.

I'd take the bow with it here just because the damage applies to ability kills where you are probably doing the majority of your damage.

I'll have to revisit Trepaniers I guess.  I used it for a while but I think I was in groups in which they were clearing the spawns very very fast and thus the bow results were lack luster.  I'll fire it up this eve for a few games.

Yep, after looking in my inventory last night, Dwarven Crusher is what I have.  100% agreed, I love it.  I have a lvl18 Unique mace that procs Immolate, but after testing with them both, I'll take the Dwarven Crusher any day.  On Threatening with Lego, tears it up.  I doubt I'd see kill streaks with it on Perilous but it shines in Threatening.

Ran some perilous with my Archer last night (finally lol), used TR, and did very well.

We used an assortment of characters, and my archer was able to keep pace no problem. The only class that clearly dominated was the AW...

We were using doorways a lot to funnel groups through them, so I was able to set off some really nice chain explosions.

The kills weren't coming as fast as threatening obviously, and I was usually only able to string together 2-4 kill streaks, but the bow still did its job :)
