I want the Tack spies in Vyrantium to unlock the tier 3 masterwork staff schematic.

 

I've completed his first quest chain, but cannot unlock the second.

What is his first quest chain?

You need to get his approval fairly high and trigger a cut scence with the chargers then complete his personal quest 'demands of the qun' in a certai way(massive spoilers) in order to unlock the fire ship chain and then the track spies chain.

Kill Dragons, Bring Bull, you will get his approval up real quick.

So I should hunt a couple of dragons with him in the party? Then his approval will be high enough?

What first quest chain are you referring to?  Have you had the "have a drink with Bull." cutscene and/or "Meet the Chargers." yet?

I've 'have a drink with Bull' cutscene. I just finished the winter palace.

 

What's Meet the Chargers?

 

I've exhausted all dialogue with bull and I still don't have anything new.  

 

I've also had the scene where I get to meet all the members of Iron's group after the drink scene.

I've also had the cut scene where I get to meet all of Iron Bull's group members.

If not you need to get his approval higher

Why don't I have the new quest chain?

You need to do the demands of the qun quest and finish it in a certain way.

Then you need to complete the fireship wartable mission chain

then you will be able to start the track spies in 'x' chain

How do you get the 'demands of the qun' quest? I don't have that quest.

After meeting the chargers you talk to bull again to get the quest.

I did and I didn't get the quest. He is out dialogue options.

In 3 play throughs I've never gotten The Demands of the Qun despite having a high approval rating and getting all those scenes with him.

You need to let the chargers die during that mission.

Seriously Exalus? Noooooooooo I like them. I mean seriously, killing off the only trans in the game is rather annoying. Reminds of what AGENTS of Shield is doing to its characters lol

 

So to let them die I just don't help them fight? Or is their a dialogue option? I found the answer, choose save drednaughts.

Yes, then complete fire ship operation chain and then track spies.

That staff schematic ain't worth it imo.

Story trumps min maxing for me, the gain of the staff is slight over non masterwork T3 staves, and actually the first enchanters staff (from T3 vendor)?mats allow for a ton of crit.

It's good, but personally not good enough for me to play out of character. ;P

I'm at the hissing wastes with my main - tempest and right now I have tier 2 armor, thinking of tier 3. Crit chance should be as high as possible right?

 

And I'm thinking of switching Dorian out for Cass. Would cass be better? I already have blackwall as the tank.

 

And there's solas for elf reasons.

 

What stats do mages benefit in armor from?

What about rouges?

And my tank? - just const?

 

I'm thinking of crafting some armor to last the rest of the game now.

What do you all think? I messed up I think by adding just magic attack for the mages. Lol. What're your thoughts?

What I'm asking is what stats are best for each class? Just so I know how to upgrade the armor xD

Willpower for warrior(damage)/mage

Dex or willpower for rogues

Constitution for warrior (tank)
