Exalus how do I increase critical chance? My crit is low and as a tempest I figure it should be a bit higher.

 

And is it worth it to have Cass serve as a damager dealing Templar alongside blackwall (tank)? I'm thinking of switching dorian out.

Crit chance is from offense:leather slots in weapon. 

 

You can but the AI does not use wrath+purge combo consistently so it might be redundant unless you control her often.

 

Solas is a much better mage than dorian due to pull of the abyss and weakens.

What ever masterwork spiked longbow gives you. You can throw in the mask of the grand duchess if you need more. Do not craft cunning when you could instead craft dex.

I'm a DD, I hate using a bow.

 

So what about in that case, how with a dd can I get a higher crit chance.

 

To that is there anyone worth replacing Dorian with.

I don't play a rogue but, for a mage, it all depends on how you gear them, what abilities you give them and, how you set up the AI and/or how much you micro manage your party as well as the biggest fight you have planed for that outing.

 

So all I can do is assume you auto level and thus Dorian is a fireball throwing necromancer, Vivienne is a lightning shooting Knight Enchanter and, Solas is a blizzard making rift mage. Each has a place for different battles. If you need crowd control then Dorian is good, going after a fire breathing dragon, then you want Solas since the dragon will be weak to ice, need to kill a her of enemies fast or, wanting to take two mages and a warrior? then Vivienne since she has energy barrage and, can melee as well.
