I play a lot of different games. It's been a hobby of mine since the Atari and Nintendo 8-bit. I presently have a PS4 loaded with a ton of backlog games (Far Cry 4, Diablo 3, Child of Light, Infamous Second Son, Tomb Raider, Last of Us), and I'm currently busting up GTA V, COD Advanced Warfare, and Madden 15. I have my eyes set on games like Witcher 3, Batman Arkham Knight, and Evolve. And I couldn't be more excited about Uncharted 4 and Star Wars Battlefront.
But man, Bioware games. They have held a special place in my heart since my early days as a magazine reviewer. I adored KOTOR. Then Jade Empire. Then Mass Effect and Dragon Age. I even went back and played Baulder's Gate on my Ipad. There's just something special about Bioware games.
Dragon Age Inquisition isn't perfect. But man is it a major relief. I needed a refreshment after DA2 and ME3. No, they were not bad games. I did enjoy them. But they left me wanting. DAI calmed my nerves, restored my faith in your brand, and makes me hopeful for the future of your franchises. I am about to disappear for a while. Got a novel to write. But man...just thank you. The adventure was a blast. Hopefully someone will drag me out of my cave when the DLC is released.
Bravo Bioware. Bravo. Now I really must go. My wife tells me we are to watch another episode of Downton Abbey before I can get to writing.
