I have DAO mac version only , can i use toolset?

 

Anyway, I can't find the toolset in mac version.......

 

(I want to change the backpack size...... I used the mod and boost up to 125, but seems not enough .....

 I found a method about using the toolset , but I suck in mac......

 Would someone help me , please ? )

Step 1: Start the Toolset. Click Open.

Step 2: Navigate to <BioWare\Dragon Age\Characters\YourCharName\Saves\Slot_##>

Step 3: Select your <savename>.das file.

Step 4: Find SAVEGAME_PARTYLIST and click [+].

Step 5: Find SAVEGAME_MAX_ITEMS and edit this value to any number you desire.*

Step 6: Save.

Step 7: Load your save and enjoy.

You can't use the toolset on a Mac, natively anyway. You could run it in a Windows VM, or dual boot. Assuming that is not an option, probably the only practical option is trying to make use of the pyGFF - http://social.biowar...m/project/1936/- source code and running in it whatever Python is available for Mac - https://www.python.o...nloads/mac-osx/

I have an old windows PC, which I used Gffeditor4.0 before, 

but i can't open the .das file , i don't know why......

(it wrote "Support both PC and X360 GFF files") in its description?

 

I tried pygff-1.0-src ( I saw a daosavegame.pyw ??? )

and install “python-2.7.9-macosx10.6.pkg” and “wxPython3.0-osx-3.0.2.0-carbon-py2.7”……. (but i still can’t run anything…..always show "syntax error")

 

Sadly and oddly, I bought the mac version from Gamersgate.co.uk ,

                            those windows version is not included......

                           i  can't download the toolset too .

                          ( coz it needs windows version's serial).

                          As a result ,  VM is not possible for me.
