Shroedinger's Victory Chest. It contains all the items simultaneously until the moment it is opened.

Did anyone get anything useful from that chest? My best item was Ferledan officer bow.

I consider the two low rent staffs I got from the chest the second best thing to get in the game (other than a nice purple) because they can become cloth and I am all about the cloth right now.

Those Necro armours are expensive :)

But,I am done for now with crafting,I hope those crafting materials i have in abundance will be of some use in near future.

BB has been in the MP EQ for some time now. It's not a new item. Most likely a Des DLC item or very rare to the point noone got until Jan. It was keyed in on 1/6/2015 8:46:08

And by wealthy,I mean those who unlocked Wealth banner.

Do you have all top tier items? Caliban,LotG,Sulevin blade,top daggers,etc.

You see,I played DAMP around 500 hours and collected to this point little bit over 800K gold,but I still miss most top tier weapons,except PBTM and Staff of the Void (if it is top tier staff).But I have The Ring :D .

Also I am interested,how many lucky bastards played (a lot) less than me and still managed to complete the manifest (so to say).

Don’t be shy :)

I'm ashamed to say I bought my way through this game with platinum, but if I traded it for gold it's be near the equivalent of the banner, and still missing only a few top tiers items, such as daggers/bows.
I do however, have the caliban, and sulevin, along with some top tier accessories, but I'm far from having all the top tier gear, and I've played about 450 hours roughly between my pc & ps4 accounts.

I had an apparently pRNG strong seed since I have earned about 280k gold and I have the Dwarven Longsword, Firm Tourney Axe, Sulevin Blade, 2x Slayer, Fury of the Veil, Staff of the Void, Wicked Grace, Agony, 3x Bow of the Griffon, and the Dwarven Proving Shield.

I have this strange feeling that people will read that last paragraph and have the urge to throw something at me...

Aside, those curious about why some people seem to get a lot of certain items but not others should read this:

http://en.wikipedia....umber_generator

A pRNG can be started from an arbitrary initial state using a seed state. It will always produce the same sequence when initialized with that state. The period of a pRNG is defined thus: the maximum, over all starting states, of the length of the repetition-free prefix of the sequence. The period is bounded by the number of the states, usually measured in bits. However, since the length of the period potentially doubles with each bit of "state" added, it is easy to build pRNGs with periods long enough for many practical applications...

A random seed (or seed state, or just seed) is a number (or vector) used to initialize a pseudorandom number generator.
For a seed to be used in a pseudorandom number generator, it does not need to be random. Because of the nature of number generating algorithms, so long as the original seed is ignored, the rest of the values that the algorithm generates will follow probability distribution in a pseudorandom manner.

If the same random seed is deliberately shared, it becomes a secret key, so two or more systems using matching pseudorandom number algorithms and matching seeds can generate matching sequences of non-repeating numbers.

In practice, the output from many common pRNGs exhibit artifacts that cause them to fail statistical pattern-detection tests. These include:

  • Shorter than expected periods for some seed states (such seed states may be called 'weak' in this context);
  • Lack of uniformity of distribution for large numbers of generated numbers;
  • Correlation of successive values;
  • Poor dimensional distribution of the output sequence;
  • The distances between where certain values occur are distributed differently from those in a random sequence distribution.

Randomized everything is garbage.  The changes from ME3 to DAI are even more terrible.  That is all.

You don't need to play Perilous to get rich quick. Majority of my loot comes from playing Routine then later Threatening. People severely underestimate how much your completion ratio has on gain. I've less than 20 Perilous games under my belt, only 11 completed. I don't play P-matches with pugs, only private with friends. They (pugs) usually only want to get gold or xp and not be concerned with completion. That's fine and all if you want to quick level a character here and there, but not when it's all they do all day, every day. What's the fun in that? The majority of my games are pug. I only join games that are balanced and guys ready to play.

I keep dropping jewels on people on how to maximize their profits and all they can say is "Shadohz... speedrunner. Shadohz, bad. Fire, hot". Don't waste time sitting in idle lobbies, kick players for taking too long/holding lobby hostage, pick games where there's an even distribution of classes, do your tedious stuff offline (crafting, buying chests etc), know the areas (every spawn location, every guaranteed chest). Avoid games if you're a melee kit where another player is tanking with a melee kit (tanking is better with 3 ranged kits, less player collision). Avoid games multiple melee kits. Avoid games with multiple stealth characters. Learn all the detonators (pretty small list actually such as setting off biotics with caltrops). Hit treasures rooms methodically (The guy the opens the doors hits the chest, unless he's holding guard on door. WHY ARE YOU RACING HIM?! Grab the chest first. Vase loot on the way out). If you team sucks (low dps, disorganized) then leave.

Here's a list of items I've never owned (which is shorter to do for me):

Caliban, Thunderstrike, Big Bone, Shield of Emperor, Superb Ring of Life Drain. Everything else I either own or salvaged before.

Biggest mistake I wish I could take back:

Accidentally salvaging the Staff of Void. WTH BW wouldn't add a locking mechanism to the game before release is beyond me.

Agree with most everything except for the bolded section.  I feel that you should grab the low hanging fruit (vases) first, and then open the chest.  It gives your team more time to get into position (if indeed, they are working the room together).  If perchance they wipe on a guardian, at least you've got that extra little bit of loot.  Finally, too often, after grabbing the 'big' loot of the chest, the tendency is to hightail it out of there to rush the next mob.  At least with uncoordinated PUG groups.  Mic-talking groups of friends are obviously easier to milk the game for every last gold coin the game has to offer.

Key phrase: "uncoordinated Pugs". You have a mixed bag of Leprechauns, SpeedRacers, and freshman. As a veteran player you're tasked with identifying their weaknesses and reinforcing their strengths. Often times puggers have a short attention span. It's something I pointed out in the How to Loot guide. I've all too often seen someone run into a treasure and start looting vases only to find him/herself alone to fend off a boss alone because took too long to trigger the "eliminate all enemies" prompt. XPRunners aren't the only ones who won't stick around waiting for you too loot everything. The average pugger isn't going to be hardcore into looting either. They'll grab what they can and keep moving. So the best option is for the person breaching the room is to trigger the chest first. Another factor that I have to repeatedly point out is melee are the slowest looters (combine that with unbreakable vases). If I'm not doing the breach then I'm guarding the outside of the door, 9/10. You get guys going into a room as if it were some sort of side-quest. It shouldn't take but 30 secs or less to clear a room. Having someone posted just outside the door sometime causes the boss to target them or remain perfectly still while attempting to reach the room guard (player).

I think I've literally seen every type of bad, time-consuming strategy people tried coming up with. One particularly bad gaming session I was playing for +3 hrs with some extreme looters. They wanted everyone to huddle around the keeper before opening the chests... each AND every time. Do you know how much time is wasted doing that? The only reason I even stuck it out was because one of the guys is on my FL and he's pretty cool (probably reading this right now) and to collect some data. As I suspected, the loot Perilous runs took longer than the ones I did with SRs and I netted less gold (over time). I was only able to promo one kit in 3 hrs on Perilous and complete less than half as many games over a similar time frame to SRs. I could've pugged Threatening and have gotten better results. So ppl who play in Private matches aren't necessarily using the most effective strategies either. No thanks, but I'll stick to the run-and-gun.

When I first read that I was really confused, because I thought you meant you played a single 3-hour-long game. Then it dawned on me that you said session. But then I was confused again: why did you continue playing with a group like that for THREE HOURS?!?!

That's the part that I clearly answered why. I was hanging with a XBL friend and collecting data (on perilous looters). Or do you mean WTH is psychologically wrong with me that I'd sit for 3 (actually 3.5hrs) playing with a group who's style that caused me to gnash my teeth? Well I could ask why do ppl Pug or play the Katari? Daddy loved me too much, mommy not enough, low self-esteem issues and a need to be loved by random people over an audio device. lmao It wasn't THAT bad. It's not like we were sitting there silently trying strategize. That's nothing when you compare it to the fact that I would play for 6hr or more on MUDs. Only difference between back then and now is that I actually get paid for it now.

edit: I mean a bad session as far as gaming tactics: loot and combat strategy and gear. Most of the guys were under-equipped for good Perilous runs. This extended the TTK on many adds. They were skipping healing fonts and running back to reheal before moving to the next zone (apparently a strat some noobies came up with). The team compositions were good.

I think i remember reading that someone has gotten both a Griffin and Blade of Red Birth from separate victory chests.  It'd be good to know high purples can drop from them, and not "level 15-20 blue guaranteed" blocking better stuff from dropping.

Why are you ashamed? It is your money,you have all the right to spend it on whatever you see fit,whores,booze (minors ignore this-drugs and easy women are bad) or (almost) non existent bits.I won’t judge you,’cos I spent fair amount of money in ME3 troll store,too.

Well,if high level purples would be guaranteed drop,maybe more people would care for weekend challenges.Or,maybe Bioware should make some special items,which can only be obtained in Victory chest.

In ME3 people couldn’t wait for the opportunity to get -insert favourite N7 weapon-.

Our "problem", as I see it, is that we need the "Spectre" chests from ME3. Right now we don't have chests that have a higher drop chance of specific item groups and so we effectively have to wait to win the lottery, rather than spend a little more gold on a chest that has higher chances for specific item drops (Weapons - could be further deluted into specific weapon group, accessories - could be further deluted into specific groups, e.g rings, necklaces etc. and armour.)
