Not talking X-Men type superpowers like the ability to shoot lasers from your eyes but genetic mutations and enhancements on a smaller scale, like a nictitating membrane to protect your eyes and enable you to see clearer underwater or an ink pouch to escape your enemies.
Minor mutations or genetic enhancements you would like to have?

Can we go the whole Venom/Carnage/Prototype (the game) route?
If not, having the ability to scare people (without effort) seems enough.

Nothing genetic! I don't want to mess with my genes. That is unless it is to fix a fatal condition. Then it's mandatory! Stuff can go horribly wrong, you know do more harm than good. Like this kind of stuff:
I would like cybernetic implants to improve myself. In particular, something like this: Source

Nothing springs to mind that qualify as a qualitative improvement in day to day life. Everything I come up with seems cool until I really think about the repercussions it could have on my health and visibility. The less people notice me in public, the happier I tend to feel. I prefer to blend into the forgettable masses. That aside, my thoughts lean into transhumanism anyway. Sorry to disappoint. :/

And I thought we already have cybernetic implants for the heart. Like pacemakers?
Also, nictating membranes? I'd rather fix my predispositions to chronic conditions like hypertension and hyperlipidemia first.

We only produce half of all essential amino acids as humans. If we produced them all, our nutritional values would be sufficient to survive with the most basic of food, provided we had enough available nitrogen.
I could eat pizza all day and breathe nitrous and still have ripped six packs! (that's not how this would actually work)

The complicated stuff is like having microscopic cilia on my hands that allow me to manipulate matter at a near-molecular level, have a shark like ability to regrow teeth, have a massive healing factor, or increase my neuron efficiency and density 2 or 3 fold.

Oh, simple stuff, lack of second wisdom teeth, better eyes, remove the chance of baldness.

You'd be better off scrapping neuron density and just seeking out a higher volume of myelin sheaths in your neural cortex.

To be honest I'd just want the ability to be able to wake and immediately be ready to go instead of having force my half-asleep self out of the bed.
A butt that doesn't fart would also be pretty sweet.

I concur with most of what Gravisanimi said.
Full-blown transhumanism however is some pretty disturbing and dangerous **** that I would actively oppose if it ever started making headway in society.

I wouldn't mind having genetically enhanced pancreatic performance. With my family history of diabetes, I'm too scared to drink a coke more than once a month or so. Liver performance too, I'm way too much of a lightweight.

I'd rather not drink excessively than think about being a lightweight.

Genetic mutations? Nah but I would use myself as an experiment for DNA computing. Genetic algorithms would be so doooope anddddddddd fatal.
The QA would be murder.

Hmm, I can't say. There would be many an option, theoretically speaking of course, with the onset of transhumanism. Much would I assume come beforehand.
It'd be interesting. For now to keep things simple, I'd say some form of modification to ensure perfect 20/20 vision remained with no impairment or over time degradation.
By the way, great topic. I'd like to see this one last.

Along with the same for teeth. The elimination of the third molar "wisdom" teeth a bonus.

I'd give myself ability to go into coma where invulnerable. Just wake up when I feel better.
Oh, like the Water Bear?

I figured it was close enough to increasing efficiency I would omit it.
A higher capacity to process water from fluids.
I'll be able to drink soda and never get dehydrated!
