Just heard some News. While I suspect that for NwN this tool is uber-overkill, I thought I'd let you know anyway. Avid are about to release a free version of their industry standard sound editing suite Pro Tools. According to the article on an official Avid blog site, it is to be called Pro Tools | First.

Not sure this is as great a bargain as it claims to be.
"Saves projects only to cloud", "Only plug-ins purchased through Avid Marketplace with Avid Master Account will work", etc. And, yes i know about the saying "don't look horse teeth when mount is a gift". Hoping it's not a too crippled product...
By the way, thanks TR for your tireless search for tools/art/utils Nwn compatible thingys.
