I cant talk to meeran or athenril! I click and nothing happens. Is there a keyboard command i can use?

Did you wait for Gamlen? I won't spoil what will happen but first you might need to unlock part of the story to be able to talk to them. If you can't unlock part of the story I guess all there really is to do is restart and make another profile. Just find Gamlen and you should be able to talk to them though.
