Dude you don't even know me ...so how can you sit there and make such a statement... how about first. You fix what ever problems you have in your own life before commenting on others..I mean realistically you know nothing about me accept what I have chosen to give and even then that's not enough to make such a huge assumption you have no clue of my schedule or my family... To be fair, there is a reason that Penguin is making such an assertion:

 

Dragon Age: Inquisition was released on November 18th. As of today (January 28th), 71 days have passed.

 

That's (71 * 24) = 1704 hours that have passed since release. The original poster is claiming that he has spent ~1000 of the 1704 hours that have passed since release playing DA:I multiplayer, or roughly 58.7% of the time since then.

 

If we take it a step further and assume that he has slept ~7 hours a day, we can subtract (7 * 71) = 497 from the 1704 hours and end up with 1207 hours of available time since release. From that perspective, the original poster has spent roughly 82.9% of the time available since release playing DA: I.

 

Ask yourself whether you personally believe an individual can be a stand-up parent and spouse given the aforementioned numbers. I'd venture a guess that, were the activity any of the addicting activities that society has deemed harmful (such as gambling), instead of gaming, you'd have a fair argument for a case of child neglect.

 

Again, all of this is internet conjecture, but the original poster has to be at least cognizant of the fact that people are going to comment on something like this when he makes claims about both his hours played and his personal life.

Do you not sleep then? Because thats the only possible way you can spend time with your kids, go to school full time and play for 14 hours a day.How does your spouse feel about the time you spend playing video games?

Ok I understand where he was getting it from but with out knowing my personal life and my daily schedule or how my family structure is that is an unfounded accusation and none of his business. ... you have no foundation to say I am a bad parent... regardless of the hours I have put into the game.. know my family and kids are fine and I do spend and make time for them...that's all you need to know and as a stranger on a forum you don't need to know beyond that..so if you want to play damp or get to know me log on to xbox live and we can chat about it... instead of troll on a forum I created to help people...and any other delves into my personal life other then any info I volantarily give out will be considered rude..so can we please get back on topic so I can help those who would like the help
