No way.  There was a mural chunk in there.

Yeah.... I did it just to see if there was anything in there worth the trouble of looting, intending to reload if there wasn't.  And then... mosaic piece.  Dammit.

Well, my Inquisitrix is a known explorer and tomb raider, at least, so she had an excuse...

We've screwed people's lives over, chosen who lives and who dies, and partaken in the single worst political circus ever to grace our eyes and ears.

and you think a little head jiggle is going to make me happy? you should feel bad for opening some stuff? :P

Well, the mosaic piece pretty much means you have to, so I don't feel too bad about it.

If you play a Dalish Inq, probably. Otherwise it's just another quest on the roster.

If DAI had a /dance command, there would be videos all over Youtube of Inquisitors busting a move on top of those graves.

Time to rob some graves.

Well... one way or another you have to get in that tomb to get your mosaic piece. If you open the graves after completing the associated quest with just clearing out the demons and reporting to the keeper, you can then get back there, open the graves and enter the tomb without the Dalish giving you a disapproving talk.

I would have left it alone if I wasn't such a completionist, honest. <_<

The keeper asks you to clear out all of the demons.

The graves spawn demons when you break them.

I cleared out all of the demons, keeper.  Stop whining.

Depends on who you are roleplaying as. A Dalish elf easily might, as could an Inquisitor from another racial background. It's entirely dependent on who your main character is.

Their dead.

I'm gonna guess they won't care if you step on their bones.

The demons possessing those bones on the other hand...

Respect the dead no matter what race they might be. Because you would want others to respect your resting place.  *lol kind of odd coming from someone with a Phantasm related name and avatar.

Just as a note: If you're worried about the Dalish approval, you can leave that quest until after you've satisfied the Dalish and their approval tracker has disappeared. Either that, or do the quest BEFORE you speak to the Dalish. Otherwise, you'll mess up their approval considerably.

I don't know, do you feel bad for walking into people's houses and stealing all of their sacks of elfroot and their boxes of trinkets?

There were demons and undead and spiders in there, proably plotting atrocities  so evil and depraved that just hearing about them would send the mind of any person tumbling into a abyss of despair and insanity.

Seriously It was a serious situation. I had to get in there and kill all those monsters. Stop judging me.....please.... :crying:

I dunno. I did this on my first Inquisitor, and it still tubed my approval. (-4, I think? It's been awhile.) Since I wasn't playing Dalish, I imagine that mitigated the loss slightly, so it probably would've been theoretically possible for me to get Loranil recruited anyway, but I was a doofus and told that one lady that her brother used blood magic, so in the end I barely missed maximum approval.

Its easy to work around if you are concerned about the approval hit, if not, who really cares?

At first, I thought only of treasure and nothing of the consequences. Then the dead attacked and I thought "Oh, so this is why those NPCs said cremation was better than burial" and proceeded to do the Dalish a favor. The Keeper wasn't happy but I got a mosaic piece and an agent out of it.

In the end which matters more, loot/metagame or roleplay?

WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT YOU HEARTLESS PERSON?!??

Just kidding. That loot gets rid of any guilt. Always need more loot.
