But there are some corpses and an arcane horror in the tomb. The keeper told me to get rid of the demons so I did my job. Plus, there is a mosaic piece in there...

People desecrate dwarven graves all the time and nobody bats an eye.
Desecrate a graveyard full of elves and everybody loses their minds!

The keeper asks you to clear out all of the demons.
The graves spawn demons when you break them.
I cleared out all of the demons, keeper. Stop whining.
You joke but that was genuinely my train of thought on my first play through. Keeper asks you to clear demons, you clear them, he gets egged off at you. saywot.
The only time I reloaded on my Dalish. Was a real facepalm moment when I got the lecture and realised I was actually defiling the graves of elves, haha.

Nope, not even my Dalish Elf!
Tombs could have contained more knowledge about the ancient elves, or artifacts of power that could help the Dalish regain what they had lost. No way was she ever going to leave anything like that locked up.

I think it's a good idea to clean the graves and the crypts(after you complete the task for the Dalish Elves, so that their scouts aren't following you). The place is full of demons, dormant or otherwise, and they're too close to the Dalish Camp for my comfort.
(It should be a lovely quest, but I spent two hours quick-loading there to get the Dalish Warrior Armor, so *shudder*. Still, Dalish quests are the best! I only wish the camp was bigger - as it is, it's five people and a campfire, like someone said).

There's not a big consequence to it. I don't know how big the approval hit is, but you can probably compensate for it. And there is a work around for that.
That said, that 's all meta-gaming. In terms of roleplaying it should just depend on your character's views on desecrating graveyards and possbily their views on the Dalish elves.
My character didn't do it, but it's weird considering we already exploring quite a few tombs and we have no problem desecrating those. It might be the only one we have no valid reason to enter. Most of the others often have enemies trying to get in or a missing person to find.

i didn't do that quest with dalish inq. but my dwarf happily stomped all over the place swinging her axe and breaking whatever could be broken, looking for loot

Respect the dead no matter what race they might be. Because you would want others to respect your resting place.
That doesn't sound like me.
I don't know, do you feel bad for walking into people's houses and stealing all of their sacks of elfroot and their boxes of trinkets?
Well, I do now!

I mean, I don't... I'm just wondering if I should.
No, you did well. Their graves were full of demons and the Inquisition was planning a new highway across that territory anyway.

I never feel bad trekking into ancient burial sites. Inky's a shem on the loose, dropping flags on everything she gazes upon. Besides, with the place being full of demons, so she probably did everyone a favor. What if some kid wandered in and busted open a tombstone? Bam! Horror claw to the face.
Besides, that mosaic tile made it all worth it.

I don't feel bad about it because as much as a think desicrating graves is not cool, putting curses on them is even more bad form.
Plus, as much as they might hate the Shems, burning the dead really seems to be the safest way of burial in this world, given how easily corpses can be possessed by spirits and how the Elves seem to pick places to build their stuff where the Veil is ridiculously thin?
(And sure, there are Ash Wraiths, but they're rather weaksauce when it comes to demons)
I'm doing them a service by getting rid of a future problem for them, if they ever go to pay respects and end up accidentally getting attacked by the possessed corpse of their Great Aunt Ethellan...

I get to pave over the Dalish? That's cool. I always felt it took too long to get to the Plains from Skyhold. Hopefully that will cut down on the loading screen time.

First playthrough I dug it up and got told off by the Elves.
Second playthrough ... finished talking to the Elves, then went and dug it up....

Not only do you get to "pave over the Dalish" - you can also employ them in minimum wage jobs for servile tasks at the restaurants, restrooms, mechanics found along the highway. I hear truckers also enjoy some Dalish "company" on their long, lonely rides.

Technically, there are corpses, because they're in a graveyard. Not to mention that they never attack unless you disturb their tombs. Then there's that bit with the necromancer raising the dead in the Exalted Plains. I messed up the first time myself. But then the next time I just killed the daemons outside and left the graves alone so when I returned I got a massive approval rating from him.
