Out of curiosity, did we ever see a Circle mage character who was a Lucrosian?

If we have, I can't remember them.

Libertarian primarily, followed by lucrosian and aequitarian.

The mages should be a part of politics and society, and use their abilities responsibly, but they should also be independent from the Chantry. Not unschooled, but simply trained in an environment not regulated by a faction that's religiously based.

isolationist, because we all know via racist stereotypes that all mages look 90 + years old and live in a cave in the mountains

Lucrosian.. I'd like to think I could go all Pablo Escobar, and buy/build my own personal Circle (estate) where I can do whatever I want.

Libertarian probably (and it's not the Libertarians as a whole who are nuts - it's the Resolutionist subgroup that's filled with bad eggs, tyvm). Although being a Lucrosian wouldn't be so bad, I suppose.

In the south? Aequitarian. I shall set an example as a mage. "With fear running rampart, they need to see a mage standing for what is right. I'll defeat Corypheus and pretend to standing with them." :P

In the Glorious Tevinter Imperium? It's complete opposite for me. I will be a Magister of the Glorious Tevinter Imperim.  :D

Probably somewhere between Aequitarian and Libertarian... someone who seeks greater freedom for the mages, but in a more baby-steps "gradual reform" fashion instead of open rebellion and terrorism.

Me: Maybe if there was a buddy system - one mage to one templar... people who trust each other, leave the tower together, keep each other in li-

Templar: And how do we know you aren't influencing your "buddy" with blood magic?

Me: And the cycle of trust issues kicks in...

Circle life sounds rather unpleasant (being imprisoned under the guard of armored drug addicts, being denied the right to have relationships or marry, being unable to raise own children, etc.) -> Libertarian

Well, that depends. Personally I don't relish the idea of obligating my entire life to any sort of institution, unless there's a fair amount of perks I can look forward to. While this is something some Circle's provide, not all do. Then there's the idea that you're being pitted against a demon, after which the result could simply end in your death or being rendered tranquil. While the practice is understandable, given the choice, I would probably avoid it. In the end, I'd probably just end up being an apostate, because, well, f*** the po-lice.
