Part (Most?) of the appeal of Bethesda games is how you can mod it. Every new game leads to new possibilities! ![]()
At this point they can release an empty sandbox toolset and people would still buy it.

That would be a terrible idea, because the next time you don't do that it will be received as bad news.Truth is, when you have a slam dunk you don't pussyfoot around. You shout it out as loud as you can so investors buy your stock, stock increases, and your bonuses go up.
And you don't want anything you say to be received as bad news.
Also, guarded statements are much less likely to attract litigation.
The world is not as simple as you seem to think it is.
