Howdy;

This is probably a stupid question, but where in my inventory would I see the Way of the Champion if I had it?  Is it possible to sell it by mistake?  Because I can't find it around Blackthorn or the bookseller either.  Looking at the Journal, the bullet next to the book is filled in, which leads me to believe I've done it.   But I can't find it in my inventory.  And I've checked all the places that folks have very nicely posted on here (and other places), but can't find any champions.  I have completed the other tasks already.

You mean the book? It doesn't show up in your inventory nor can you sell it.

Ok, thanks!  I was wondering if that's what happened, why I haven't been able to find the Champs.  I'll keep looking!

go to the requisition table. maybe you picked it up and didn't realize it.  Or is that where you checked that you don't seem to have it?

I thought that was where I made the standard, which I've already done.  I can't find the book anywhere that it should be, so I have to assume I've got it.  And I've done everything else.  I just can't find any champions to duel.  I think I've been pretty thorough in searching the areas where they are supposed to be, which is why I thought perhaps I just don't the book.

Update:  Even though my journal shows that I haven't fought the 3 duels, I went up to chat with Lord whats-his-name, and lo and behold, I'm a champion!  Weird.  I know I didn't fight them.  Weird.  I wonder if it's because I waited so long to do the Exalted Plains?  Who knows.  Thanks for your responses!

It's completely possible you beat them in amongst other mobs or something.  And if you made an item for the champion that usually uses the book for the different specializations to make as I recall.

I suppose, though from what I've read, it's a bit more of a production than just fighting random enemies, plus they don't actually die, just yield and give up the heraldry.  Again, just what I've read.  And also the Journal showed that I had not done any of the 3.

You could buy the book off of the merchant in Val Royeaux as well. Also, the location for the champions sould be in the quest if you look at the codex, and you can look at region codex's to see if that region has the mat you need. Hope this helps.
