The inquisitor is cool, but the entire history of the game revolves around the warden, the characters, the setting, whose in charge, the god baby (or lack of god baby).

We need him back as a playable character. Wouldn't be too hard to recreate, and with a selection of voices, he could be given a modern makeover and played the way we want to play him.

I mean I want to see the story threads tied up and explained, I don't want to have to re-meet morrigan and flemith and alistair every single game. Take us to tavinter and let us meet the leader of the wardens in the anderfels.

Plus let's face it, the inquisitor is basically royalty now, rich beyond compare.

Not saying it'd be easy, the custom hawke concept is a good step in the right direction, but if bioware could pull it off, everything would be so much more significant with the warden involved then some guy who has no reason to care. Especially morrigan and leliana, and they're pretty central to everything...

Hoping to see the warden again, if he spend the rest of the series as a box of text, that truly sucks.

And I want to hear about the calling, the root of the darkspawn (who are WAY scarier then the demons in DAI)... still have 6 magisters unaccounted for, and slumbering old gods (and live gods waiting to be reborn) that could make for a killer storyline.

Well, at least we have fanfiction and fanart

If Bioware won't give the Wardens the attention they deserve, we can

They're dead, Jim.

Unless they allow the Orlesian Warden as a replacement, that's good too.

I don't.

I enjoyed my time with my Warden but I'd much rather take a completely new character through each Dragon Age game instead of shoehorning a past creation into every major event in the setting's history.

With how they seem to have made the rest of the Warden order one of the lamest factions in the Thedas universe, I don't know if it'd be the same. But I do want to see my Wardens again, definitely.

In Origins, the faction itself was nigh nonexistent beyond Alistair, the Hero of Ferelden, Riordan and possibly Loghain, so it feels distanced. Even if the Wardens turn out to be a major pain in the ass, the HoF would probably still seem golden.

I'm prettysure we get this thread every time a new DA game is released.

It's really time to let the warden go. it's been what? 3 years?

No matter what they do with the Warden, people will be screaming that it isn't their Warden. Hell Hawke appears for like five Min in DAI and I've seen people complain that it wasn't their Hawke. Hawke had considerably less potential variation than the Warden, so the Warden would be 100x worse.Bringing the Warden back is just not worth the resources that would be necessary. And the exact same issue exists with every other DA protagonist.

Plus why the hell would my King Warden want to go and frolick in the North. That would be an act of war and force him to separated from his small harem.

Let him rest in peace, with Origins. They are gone and won't ever return.

I would love to see my warden again as well as see bioware take the dragon age design back to its Origins.

I see what you did there B) . Married Anora and kept Leliana as mistress right?

I reckon there will be something on them. Because their quest to cure the Calling is kind of way too huge a thing with way too huge an implication if they succeed to be left to headcanon.

I'm going to be disappointed if whether or not my Warden returned, if she was successful, etc. is left ambiguous until the end of time.

And if they keep bringing back people who are close to her, ie Leliana, while she's off twiddling her thumbs somewhere, effectively making any headcanon moot anyway.

Well I also romanced Morrigan (hurray for bugs), but she doesn't really count since she goes into hiding. I do however headcanon Sigrun as a member. Because why not. >.>

This.  I really like the concept of a game series that isn't about one person, but about a world.  Don't get me wrong, I loved Shepard's story, too, but the setting is so much bigger than one man, and I like seeing the various threads that interweave to tell the story of Thedas.

The Warden had his fifteen minutes of fame in DAO. Let him rest in peace.

If he's dead, the orlesian warden or another can fill his shoes... but there's no getting away from morrigan and flemith and alistair and the rest now. every major even t is related to them at this point, and if they're going to finish those stories, nobody will create better dramatic scenes then the warden.

If you want real bioware type story, we need the warden. And my warden is very much alive. All but one, actually.

A new protagonist means meeting everyone yet again, and abandoning tons of stories that haven't been wrapped up yet, and the inquisitor is rich and powerful as a king so he can't be the next protagonist.

I'd hate to never see them again except in text boxes.

And as stated above, my warden is a king (well prince-consort) and has a harem of sorts. So if the Inquisitor is inelligable for being rich like a king (no idea where that idea comes from, but w/e) then the Warden is disqualified for potentially being a king. Too bad your Wardens didn't play their cards right.

I'd bet my warden is a mess after losing Alistair. I don't want to see her, she's probably a horrible drunk now :(
