No it can be done right look at that Fan made parrody on youtube. if the comedy is done well and the writeing is topnotch it can work.
But this is just lets play to the Tumbler crowd.
but as i said an all female croud wont work well whith this franchise at leat not these days.
These days you can not have any negitive aspects to a female character whithout backlash.
she cant be Sleazy, Greedy, even nerdy to the point of social awkwardness.
While i can see Gillian Anderson as a Venkman.. who hear is willing to bet if she was as big a sleezball as he was in GB1 there would be an uproar?
Remember the Card test sceen? switch the genders so She is useing it to get into a guys pants.

Let me be honest here....
There has been plenty of movies, in the last six years that have been complete garbage.the newest TMNT movie wasn't bad as i thought going into it.It was for a new Generation for sure.it was no TMNT movie to me though.with this type of mindset, I'm ready for a ghostbusters movie.and ready for it to be awful...
But a small part of me is excited for it and i think its cool, that the main characters(need not speak'em cause we all know there names) are going to be Women.Two of them i find actually funny, the other two eh on the one.and the other i have never heard before

Which character would that be, to me thats raph.But MIkey i ended up hating quite abit and found him creepy as hell.Shredder was Awesome to be honest

It was Shredder, I hated how they made him look like a Transformer and he didn't even feel like character to me
I also hated how the Turtles was like 10 feet tall

the suit with all those "swords/knives" that was over done i must agree there.but the scenes where he's "normal" far as new gen gos, he seemed good to me.
them being 10 feet tall i was expecting that actually.with how "Heroes" are portrayed in movies now a days

I still need to watch it, but I'll get around to it since I love Ninja Turtles.
However, one thing that I will say is that I wish they would have went with the "beak design" instead of giving the turtles lips.
I also hope that we get Krang and maybe Beebop and Rocksteady in the sequel.

Spot on, to the point i just wanted to quote it.and also Gillian Anderson, omg i had.more like still do.a huge crush on her growing up.i wanted to become an FBI agent and end up working some paranormal sect.cause i figured there would be a woman I found beautiful and more importantly super awesome and intelligent

I don't know, there's a chance this could not suck; the director's one of the creators of Freaks and Geeks and directed several episodes of Arrested Development, which bodes well. And if it does suck, well, it's not like Ghostbusters 2 was all that great either.
