Accepted, it's just that I much prefer justifying what I actually said than what I didn't lol! As I said earlier, you don't have to agree. Not a prerequisite from my end.

Ah I'm sorry, I jumped on your throat. I didn't mean to get nasty about it :( it shouldn't happen again >.<

Actually, I was thinking about getting Skyrim for the console, since it was released for the xbox360, I take it I shouldn't?

I played Skyrim on PS3 and for me it was a nightmare after they released the last DLCs and patches. So I gave up and uninstalled the whole thing. It will probably run better on 360.

I bought Skyrim really late on PS3 and I haven't really had problems. I have had few horse clitches, nothing that would make them unplayable just that once had 2 horses same time and other time I killed my horse by accident but she still waited me in the stable after I went to buy new horse. I doubt I'm just incredibly lucky, I think they patched it into proper condition. So it has very minor clitches at least for me.

Hopefully after some months.. or years.. DAI will be patched into similar condition than Skyrim.

I first played Skyrim on the 360. It runs well, and it looks fine.

But - if you have a PC that meets requirements, (even if it's roughly equivalent to the specs of a 360, for example), it's 100% better, and I highly recommend you consider it. That's not even considering the extent of the modding scene. There are still a lot of game breaking issues that some unofficial patches address, with support for those ongoing, plus you have the ability to fix certain quest issues and bugs yourself using the in-game console. You also have an absurd amount of freedom to tweak it, resulting in a better looking, better running game at pretty much every system level.

And you can still play it on your tv with a 360 controller.

Ughh! Why did I even come here?

I downloaded them all and listened to then once on my way to work. I had to listen to death metal to wake me back up afterwards. They almost caused me to wreck my car

Go for the Legendary edition on PC and plug in a controller if you like. The console's version just can't compare to what the PC version can be with mods, especially if you have a high-end rig and thus can use the ENB. Vanilla Skyrim is like 8/10, good and fun for some time but nothing extraordinary, but modded Skyrim? One of the best games and gaming experiences ever.

That is not the point.

It is about where their FOCUS lies. Laidlaw should be tweeting about what they are doing to resolve issues with the game, not about how awesome he is for giving away 10 tunes that we've already heard a million times.

Yes, he should. I talked about that as well. Their communication with the community about serious issues is almost non-existent. And this week we didn't even got patch notes for the latest patch. It was a small hot-fix, but it would still be nice to know what it will fix.

But I guess I can now at least listen what DAI sounds like- I mean how it's supposed to sound like, not how it sounds like with all kind of voice and music bugs that people are having.

Yeah, at least for me even the bard was constantly bugging. Either just playing her instrument or just singing. Very rarely I heard the complete version of the song. If this was something intended, it was weird.

Unfortunately not in my house lol! I don't doubt the graphics etc will be better, I've just really grown out of playing games on the PC unless I absolutely have to (aka not released on consoles). Until I get an xbone sometime I'm willing to sacrifice a bit of graphic quality and a few other minor things (unlike with DAI that I have to sacrifice alot of quality and playability), but I understand where you're coming from.

LOL :P nice trolling. Just about the only thing that made me LOL today. Thanks for that.

In any case though, you don't have to take my criticism. Just visit the link in my signature. You'll see other peoples' criticism there as well. Have fun!

So I looked at the page and i have to say.. I haven't seen any of those problems during 90 hours of playing (though I can't speak on the multiplayer as I don't enjoy multiplayer experiances). I have not had the game crash on me, freezes, collision problems, dialogue issues, major loading problems (it takes around two minutes for a new area to load, but I play with others on the couch so it isn't an issue), frame rate remains relativly stable except for when using Mark of the Rift (though I switched it out for Firestorm immediatly when I got it), and have nto had spawing issues. Maybe I'm just unique in the case, but I haven't experianced many technical issues.

Also, skyrim is much more glitchy than DAI

Dear Bioware,

thanks for giving us "what we asked for", all the bard songs. sadly, we didn't ask for bard songs.

DAI4.jpg

we asked for game fixes.

but priorities are priorities, right?

not gonna bother with you or your games ever again. no, not even ME4 unless it's so good i'm liable to get an orgasm every ten minutes of gameplay.

definitely not yours, truly,

a fed-up paying customer.

What are you on about? We asked for the songs non-stop. There were multiple threads on it. On this forum and others. And on twitter.

The fact that you don't want it does mean it wasn't demanded.

I was really happy. It was really aggravating the OST didn't have the songs.

Hey, im the first person on the line pointing out the finger at stuff that isnt in the game or all the dumbed down stuff etc, but I DID WANTED THIS, i even lowered my score for my review because i felt i was being cheated for buying the OST and this song werent in the package, since they did this im going to change again my score back to what it was.

This is good.

Now someone has a link to this?

So you're upset that BioWare took five short minutes to upload those songs to the website rather than spending that time on patches? Is this a serious topic or are we making joke topics now?

You guys aren't adding much at all to this thread. Others came and said the same thing to octarin. She or he addressed them so, I just think posting the same question is serving to bump the thread and that alone.

Well, I understand. Bioware communication is absolute crap on this game.

We : "We can't play at all..."

Bio : "Yeah! We are GOTY"

We : "Still can't play..."

Bio : "Look at the wonderful cake!"

We : "Still waiting..."

Bio : "We are going to vacations! So long!"

We : "Did you see all the bugs we posted about in your official forum?"

Bio : "Multiplayer DLC! Yeah!"

We : *post deleted on facebook*

Bio : "And now, the long awaited bard songs!"

We : *Posts deleted on facebook*

This is a good representation of the OP feelings;

It is not that the songs are bad or even related with the work on patches, but the way Bioware toots its own horn is very infuriating. This could have been a great chance to win some people back with something like this:

"Hey guys, while you are all waiting for our fixes (we are working on it), we released the bard songs to make that wait less painful. Thanks for the support!".

At this point, any communication completely ignoring the bugs on the game is bound to be ill received. And justifiably so.

I'd be even happier if they patched the bug in the game that keeps me from hearing music at all while playing.

Sorry to be a party pooper, but the songs are great and I'm glad they released them while they are working on fixing the game with patches.

Many, MANY EA titles promises fixes.. Yet month, after month roll by, and consumers are left waiting, and hoping.. 6-12 months later, often still waiting... In early games, i gave the benefit of the doubt.. But after YEARS of this same practice (release it now, maybe fix it later, if its still lucrative) those assurances are no longer credible!

Kingdoms of Amalur to this day, is a broken mess.. Battlefield 3, and 4 still have some release day issues.. Hell, it took 6 months for BF3 to have a target reticle in multiplayer for cryin out loud! Sims4, Sports games, etc.. The list could go on, but im sure many youngins with only a few years of EA experience will still jump to their defense..

It hasnt always been like this, people. Games used  to release in much, MUCH better quality.. Complacency, and acceptance of sub-par standards by consumers have made the gaming industry what it is today... Sub-par!

Hold on a minute. While the game has been pretty buggy for a lot of people you're really wrong about the historic stability of PC releases.

I had to use crazy workarounds like boot disks to get some titles to run and that's not even accounting for all the hardware and driver incompatibility nightmares that could happen.

Wing Commander still fills me with dread.

lmao...

I wasn't aware this game was even released for 360 and ps3... WOW.

Lmao... it runs relatively funky on 780ti w/ sli profile as it only makes a marginal difference.

I can only imagine the fps struggle on those consoles.... ughhhhh...

I tight-fit, they say releasing this game on 360/ps3, LOL!....

Hmm, I recall the days when Minimal and Recommended hardware settings for PC games could be taken seriously to achieve CRISP results with max-settings [provided if your hardware exceeded] recommended specs... long gone are those days tho.

It's a despicable and rotten practice releasing a game in its clearly unfinished state just for the quick cash and then maybe or maybe not fixing it. And to be fair not only EA does this, ALL MAJOR PUBLISHERS are doing this (Diablo 3, AC:U, WD, Rome 2 TW, X Rebirth, etc). Quite frankly, I am sick of it, but what is there to stop for example Ubisoft from releasing buggy messes of games every year with zero optimization if millions of fanboys will still preorder them without thinking? And I don't want to even talk about early access or all those sh*tty unplayable games Steam lets through :)
