Actually, I was thinking about getting Skyrim for the console, since it was released for the xbox360, I take it I shouldn't? 

I had a great time with it on the 360.

I don't know about a giant multi-page thread requesting bard songs but there were a few smaller threads and the request for bard songs came up on other threads off topic.

thanks for giving us "what we asked for", all the bard songs. sadly, we didn't ask for bard songs.

 

That's a very sweeping opening sentence. I personally didn't ask, but I know many people did.

Btw... I just started Origin up to download the bard songs and not only did Origin patch itself, it also patched DA:I. Did I miss patch 4 somehow?

 

Apparently there was either a "stealth" hotfix for Patch 3 (on PC) or a stealth Patch that incorporated what would have been a standalone hotfix for Patch 3 for PC.  Since there are no official Patch / Hotfix notes for what is at least potentially Patch 4, take your pick.  As an Xbox 360 user, I am still waiting for Patch 3 which will hopefully not require a hotfix.  IIRC, both Patches that were released (not counting the day one Patch) for PC have required some form of remediation.  So, I am willing to wait a bit longer for Bioware to get it right for Consoles.  Also, I have other games besides DAI to occupy my time until Patch 3 is finally released for Console users...

I was playing on an old 320 GB slim model. 

me to..and the origional fat, and the newest 500gig. had no issues on any of them until my saves were  a dozen gigs+

 

also bough the premiumlatest edition on pc and had no issue. some ppl dont, some do

Prior to Skyrim I felt the same. Then I got mods that improved the graphics for the landscape, added a summonable horse, gave the left over dragon souls a purpose, made the banter from the guards tolerable... yeah, it's more fun now. ^^
