Been stuck on this quest for a long time. Basically, you need to find 4 signs of Warden activity. I've found 3 - however, the last one, which is near the Stone Tree and the Astrarium, to the right of Small Grove Camp, just doesn't show up in the actual area. It appears on my map, but I can never find anything near or around the area even after running all over and mashing that V-key.

 

Bug, or am I really somehow missing something? I'd really like to mop up this quest after how long it's taken me.

I can't remember which one it is, but I think that one of the signs of Warden activity below ground. You walk under a walkway, instead of over it.

Hey Robert, thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, the one which I'm stuck at does not seem to have any multi-tiered ground structure around it. I've taken screenshots of both the map and the exact area itself.

 

The V-key (search) brings up absolutely nothing despite me standing right on the spot itself.

That is because the marker is in the wrong spot. The sign is slightly to the east of that spot, on a small hillock. There is a small campsite there.

Just drop down to ground lvl , to the left there with be an underpass, go through it and it's on a rock just to the left.

That's the thing with these purple search areas - the thing you're looking for isn't always hidden in the exact center. There's an apostate's cache in the Hinterlands that is also very tricky that way.
