Where's the working patch for consoles?

I don't want to change my appearance as much as I would like to have more than a 1 in 5 chance of completing a DAMP level (no exaggeration. This morning. 1 in 5). I'm not even bothered as much by the rest of the bugs in the game anymore. This is WAY too annoying in comparison.

So what's the scoop? You going to fix it or have you given up on your own game?

(Do the voting members for GOTY take into account how well a game works before they stick it on that pedestal?)

Voters were fooled by the PR action. And the reviewers were bought, i think, with the trains of EA gold.

All major reviews are paid. It couldn't be left to chance when billions are on the line. EA expects to get a billion dollars in DLCs in 2015, do you really think they'd let a bunch of hee-haw gamer mags do bad reviews? Let's not be that naive please...

I'm confused. What's not wanted exactly? Fixes for glitches? I don't care about gold in either MP or campaign. There's nothing left to buy.

It will screw up your SP play if you want to use exploits. Also it seems to have caused more bugs in both SP and MP

If they think many of the players are going to BUY their SP DLCs this year after the BS they have already done, they are clearly either delirious or hoping their die hard fan boys will still buy them regardless of how buggy the product is.

That's asking too much. The new patch addresses none of your concerns as has been tested thoroughly

OK. Are you going to keep filling me in as to what has happened as opposed to what will happen? This is really a console post and not PC (and may become less PC).

Look at the difference between hosting a session and joining one - I'm on PC and can get farther along alone and I die not crash!  Every joined session so far has ended badly, from falling off the game space to simply stalling or crashing.  This is not a simply an internet issue, but one of the server maintaining stable sessions.  And why not simply drop the connection instead of becoming unstable?  That is a game issue!

But yeah, I was under the impression that patch 3 for consoles will feature the same gameplay changes as patch 3 for PC.

 

So you should be able to see whether that patch fixes your issue or not, in the general patch thread.

As if patch 3 for PC isn't going to be nearly a carbon copy into consoles.

Well, one could hope that they learned lessons from the PC release. It's taking a while for the release so maybe, just maybe, they'll fix stuff that doesn't actually work instead of adding features. Hopefully they know the difference between a patch and an update.

I noticed Patch 3 ruined the body mesh for Cassandra.  I can now see through her armpit region.  Right through her.

It's probably the armor you have equipped. I remember having her arms and torso completely separate in some cutscenes when she was wearing a set without the shoulder guards (which would normally hide the separation).

The same thing happens to at least mage Inquisitors in some animations (with the standard light armor sets, the arms can detach during things like harvesting herbs and mining ore).

Haha, Bioware doesn't come here anymore. We bought the game and they won't show their faces until they're ready to sell us the next broken, half-finished product.

EA isn't getting a penny outta me from DLC sales until after they fix these damn bugs and glitches.
