Soon. I don't like commenting on precise patch times because it can be hard to predict and it only leads to disappointment when the time/date slips. But you can rest assured that we are working hard to bring these stability improvements to all platforms as soon as possible.
The mini patch that happened contained our other major fix to the key-drop glitch. There is still an instance we've seen once in a blue moon where a teleporting enemy will teleport outside of the bounds of the level to a place where they're not allowed, causing the players to be unable to find them, but for the most part the key-drop problem should be very uncommon from here on out. I've seen a number of posts from people confirming that this is the case.
We are able to reproduce both of these bugs internally. I found that they are both timing related and happen most often during low-bandwidth, high latency, or unstable latency internet environments. If you're playing at a time where the player pool is small enough that there aren't a lot of hosts to connect to these issues will be more prevalent. We are working on a solution.
Great, this is working, thanks for those.
I don't think anyone most people will expect answers you can't give,
so to know the Console version of Patch 3 is in the pipeline, and some insight into the other issues Amelia mentioned,
is really helpful and assures those concerned that these items were not being worked on.
One thought on Boco's excellent post (and grudgingly on Alyssa's post's factual content)
This post in entirely underrated. My only concern is that these types of responses should be pinned on the front page until the issue is resolved due to the nature of multiple new threads clogging up the feedback regarding these issues.
Once some of the back log of MP hot questions are aired (heck I'm selfish), perhaps a link to the SP forums might be an idea?
Dev contact is great for all players, though DAMP is particularly important given it's weekly events and so on.
It might also be worth flagging between ourselves that an 'ask the devs' thread, by its nature, requires more diligence from posters over the number of spam posts, venting posts and indeed general future game feedback (as there is a sub-forum for that and devs won't be commenting on unannounced DLC etc). If the thread gets swamped with all that, that doesn't encourage dev interaction.
Thanks, and great to see you both posting.
