We are able to reproduce both of these bugs internally. I found that they are both timing related and happen most often during low-bandwidth, high latency, or unstable latency internet environments. If you're playing at a time where the player pool is small enough that there aren't a lot of hosts to connect to these issues will be more prevalent. We are working on a solution.

Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. I hope you guys can fix them quickly.

There is no conflict; there's a clear use of a word and applying to someone, saying they are that thing. That's the definition of name-calling.

It's disconcerting to see the idea that we're held to a higher standard, but no mention of the idea that name-calling does not meet a professional standard? When someone saddens me, if I lose my temper and resort to name-calling, I am in the wrong and I should at least acknowledge that I don't intend to let that be something I do in the future - even if I slip up now and then, because nobody's perfect. But the tone of this response seems to be: we aren't capable of ever taking an action we'd ever regret, but you guys are.

Allan, I do appreciate that in your thread clean-up you've let my posts stand, even if no one has chosen to address them.

I'm also glad to see, whatever the disagreements, that y'all have chosen to engage with the MP customers again. Are there plans to hop over to general Feedback forums and engage with the single-player customers soon, or is that waiting for more solid Patch 4 info?

Yeah, I'm still amazed that Bioware believes themselves to be faultless in this entire affair. Worse yet, while we finally have the communication that we have been so desperately trying to get, it is not the communication that is needed since there is still no comment regarding when items that were supposed to be included in patch 3 will actually be released or what are the next set of issues that will be addressed.

Also I want to point out that at least on PC, there is a discrepancy between my personal prestige points and my points on the leaderboard, with the latter lagging 8 points behind. I understand leaderboard is pointless to a lot of people but would like to see if this issue is prevalent and whether devs are aware of it.

What about text chat?

There are lots of PC players who want text chat. Is it unreasonable to expect a response on this? We asked for this for ME3, and were ignored. We've asked for this for DAI, and so far have been ignored.

The prestige point is a good one.

I'm not even sure how the total prestige number is calculated.

It includes the objective achievements, promotions and maybe events but it seems unclear.

I asked EA Answers how it was calculated a couple of weeks ago, but stony silence there so far.

The mini patch that happened contained our other major fix to the key-drop glitch. There is still an instance we've seen once in a blue moon where a teleporting enemy will teleport outside of the bounds of the level to a place where they're not allowed, causing the players to be unable to find them, but for the most part the key-drop problem should be very uncommon from here on out. I've seen a number of posts from people confirming that this is the case.

The only time I really run into the bug now is when a giant is present. It appears it happens when the giant is killed while rising from his knees he then stands motionless then disappears causing the key to not drop. Anyone know if this is a known issue?

You move from one wave to the next except you do not enter a true mp map.  You enter and outdoor map which has plains and grass, mountains of bldgs in the distance.  You can see your team mates but no enemies, you can move around a bit but there are obstacles that will pop you back to a location.  You can use your abilities and attack but off course you are either far from the actual action or can't see the enemies.

If you are luck and have good patient team mates and they make it to the next door you will be popped back into the game as normal.  (I have had this happen twice in a game once, most often just one level gets fubared.)  Amelia acknowledge this problem and sort of explained why it was happening but can't remember if she said there was an impending fix.

(Edit:  Yes I am on Xbox one...the true master race!)  If that is addressed in an impending patch then that is good news and I am thankful.

Ahh...so, the "Plains of Doom" affect consoles, as well?

I've always thought of it as Purgatory, or maybe some kind of secondary post-apocalyptic nuclear wasteland myself. Gotten it on PS4 for sure

Same, at least a few times for me.
Sadly there needs to be an acknowledgement of this on all mediums

I think we all know why they are banning people and its not much of a surprise. It's because they're from Canada and don't love the Constitution and the first amendment. Now I'm gonna say some really mean things. Tim Horton's is a distant second to Krispy Kreme. Steve Nash never won a ring. I'm done with these syrup suckers. USA USA USA USA!!!!!!!! #HockeyisprettygreatHopeIdon'tgetbannedforthis

I wonder this myself. Does being an American who believes in American exceptionalism affect my thought process regarding freedoms of speech?
Because honestly, I'm not a monarchist myself

This is very refreshing!

For myself (and many others I assume) the simple communication of "we're working on it, it'll be ready ASAP" is all we were looking for :)

Hate to beat a dead horse, but to go back to "villain-gate" (lol)....

I'm pretty new to DA:I and DAMP. After a couple weeks of messing around on my own, I came to the Official BSN forums to look for help/info regarding a number of issues which had surfaced for me while playing the game. These ranged from abilities not functioning like the tooltip describes, to online stability and key issues in the multiplayer.

Upon arriving on BSN, I immediately became very confused and discouraged.

I found little to no info from the developer on their official forums regarding known problems with their product.

The little info I did find was all compiled by fellow gamers (and a large portion of that info collected by one member in particular)

What I did find was a situation where it seemed as if the developer was involved in a petty arguement with a customer. From my perspective, not only did I feel the customer was in the right for raising his concerns (his methods aside), it seemed absurd for the developer to be writing short novels telling people how to behave, when still skirting the major issues which had been raised.

As some members tried to point out, some background knowledge and context may have been needed to bring things into perspective......but without doing hours of my own research to illustrate a history of the BSN, that was the first impression of Bioware's community interaction I was left with.

I also think the banning of Penguin was uncalled for. IMHO, he wasn't rude, just blunt. To me, banning him demonstrates insecurity on the part of Bioware.

All that said, I am very pleased to see the turn things have taken since the "incident". DA:I is a great game, and DAMP has great potential to be a long lasting MP. So for what it's worth, thank you for your hard work, past and present :)

Edit: forgot to add

A thread like this is exactly what I was looking for when I first came to BSN looking for help. If it had been here from the start, I would never have felt the desire to even click on Penguin's thread, never mind post in it.

Just adding some clarification (no opinion stated below just facts)

Penguin was issued temporary ban and returned to the forum. He posted on the 26-27-28 of January in multiple topics.

Something happened on January 28 (yesterday) that landed him a permanent ban.

I don't presume to know what was written or said that  gave him the second ban.

Yes, on XB1 I find it exceedingly rare.

Twice in the time I've played (which is a lot).

I think like other issues, poor internet is playing a part.

They've deleted my posts questioning this as it isn't allowed in the rules. Just forewarning you. Also for education purposes to answer you all you have to do is read Allen's original thread sticky to see. They decided to Permaban him for reasons that will not be explained to us as apparently we can't discuss the reasoning behind dev decisions on the forums

Bioware made him a martyr. No matter what they do now he will forever be a hero to many of us.

His video about BW killing endangered animals was simply a harbinger of his own death.

We are aware of this issue and have a fix for it.  You should see this live in the near future, with the leaderboards re-synchronizing properly with your personal prestige points.

Soon.  I don't like commenting on precise patch times because it can be hard to predict and it only leads to disappointment when the time/date slips.  But you can rest assured that we are working hard to bring these stability improvements to all platforms as soon as possible.

Just dont keep us in th dark. We, console players, know we are minority here, but we wish to be loved too :P

So....is this the thread where I can humbly request an archer tempest character, a two hander Templar, a shapeshifter Mage and to say thanks for Sidney, Rion, Neria and especially Luka?

Cause she is da bomb :D

Honestly it begs to be seen. Until it happens and is related to specific decisions made prior I'm not going to claim this anymore. I will however agree that it took entirely too much on our end to get any sort of response in the first place. I honestly can't believe it took talk of legal action and calls for employees of BW to be fired just to receive a proper response. When that response came it also came with a negative impact on many forum users including new rules

New rules?

Yes, posts in Scuttlebuts. Only Conal Pierse bothers sometimes to post in this enormous 800 pages while seems like here we have 3-4 people that even don't play MP. And yet another quote:

Quoting individual posts doesn't prove anything.

And there have been posts by several BioWare employees. Particularly in threads about specific issues, such as the sound and banter thread. You are denying their existence because it doesn't suit you to acknowledge them, but that doesn't change reality.
