:huh:  :rolleyes: ...you not liking the game does not mean it's bad. Also, burnt all their fuel? We've only seen close to half of thedus and we just starting to understand what going on with the worlds story and some how they used up all the fuel? What story have you've been fallowing?

Obviously not talking about their boring uninteresting world and writting. When I say burn all their fuel I meant using things from others to make their story seem somehow appealing for people with low IQ. Now that they used Bible, Tolkien, Martin, Disney, Star Wars (oh the holograms, Darth Coryfhish talking to his disciple) and so on. They are so fucked up for the next game I pity them. Lacj of creativity can only go so far (it didn't went that far anyway).

Twilight is actually darker and has more developed characters than DA:I. Seriously. 

 

And yeah, agreed with OP. In the Haven aftermath, when I saw the magical ne  Mother Gissele penguin her way toward me, I said out loud, "She's gonna start singing, ain't she?". A facepalm followed.

Ah yes fun fact, there orginally used to be a section in the sleeping beauty castle at Disneyland that had a device that made it look like Maleficent was coming up behind you, they had to take it out because it scared people too badly.

They've been using disney references since DA2, where have you been? Flemmeth was said to have been influenced by Maleficent, they both even use the "well.. well..." phrase and transform into dragons. Orsino was also said to have been influenced by disney villains. Welcome to 2010.

Except his reasons behind his actions are anything stereotypical. Villains wanting to become gods for the sake of power are a dime a dozen except that is not what is going on here. Corypheus is someone who was extremely religious. He fervently believed, he believed so much that he performed the most daring piece of magic in the history of humanity to restore the faith of his people, to serve God in person and when he actually reaches the throne of the Maker...it's empty. God is not there, there is only darkness and horror that sticks to you and becomes you.

And what is his reactions? He is unable to accept it, he is unable to accept there is no greater purpose, that we are alone in the universe, that it is cold and uncaring and empty.

And he decides that if there is no God, he'll become one. That he will give the world purpose.

 

"Beg that I succeed for I have seen the throne of the gods and it was empty."

 

His character is way deeper than "I'll become a god, evil laugh".
