Sure because every one who went out of there way to vote for it best game of the year are idiots and you who probably never wrote a story in his life knows everything. Yeah sure...

On the contrary, I do, and a lot better than them. I'm not saying it like "I write good", no, not even close, it is just almost impossible to be worse than them. They pick on the most clichèd emotion to please public, it is ridiculous. Some parts are interesting but still so copied it hurts. Fade concept would be amazing IF it was original. They are good videogame writters because in real writting they would be stomped for writting such obvious things. Also their level of heroics is almost juvenille... I could go on...

Their refusal in risking a world distant from ours because they would not be able to connect to players and still sliding into classic fantasy and heroics to grant pleasing the "teenager inside" is low. Going for Jesus-Andraste, European conflicts and exodus of Jew mythology is argh... just believe what you want. Their story is just plain boring and creativity is below zero.

Except his reasons behind his actions are anything stereotypical. Villains wanting to become gods for the sake of power are a dime a dozen except that is not what is going on here. Corypheus is someone who was extremely religious. He fervently believed, he believed so much that he performed the most daring piece of magic in the history of humanity to restore the faith of his people, to serve God in person and when he actually reaches the throne of the Maker...it's empty. God is not there, there is only darkness and horror that sticks to you and becomes you.

And what is his reactions? He is unable to accept it, he is unable to accept there is no greater purpose, that we are alone in the universe, that it is cold and uncaring and empty.

And he decides that if there is no God, he'll become one. That he will give the world purpose.

So...his monologue in Haven is his only depth? This is a Luciferian/Prometheus trope that has been in writing for centuries. And we never actually get to see this. We never have a substantial conversation with Cory aside from Haven. We can read the codex, we all we see is an insane Satan, hovering around and screaming nonsense.

If you have listen to Cory's speech you would have know he would of never given you any more info. He's so arrogant he won't even have a full conversion with you without trying to kill you.

Haven't seen a romance scene that was as graphic as in Origins or Game of Thrones. Wasted PG18, too prudent. They should tune down the rest and aim towards PG13 and cash in the mohoneyy.

Except that DIsney movies are amazing and playing Inquisition is the least fun thing a person can do. But yeah, they tried to put every granted formule into a single game. And sold only 3 million copies... And seem happy about it... I wonder what the hell they will do to sell the next since they burnt all their fuel in this one. Their lies all exposed and their lack of creativity overflowing.

 

This is highly subjective but hasn't it been roughly ten years since Disney (not Pixar) has made a film that could be called "amazing"? Outside of the first PoC movie I'm just remembering a lot of bad sequels to good movies from Disney's golden years.

Well the mix of different time periods does make me think of a Disney movie. Also characters with North American accents and mannerisms makes it feel more like a cartoon than say a Game of Thrones.
