Someone mentioned in a previous post of one of my videos that they believed I should use dialogue from the games in the video, so I did utilize some in-game dialogue this time.

The song is called "Requiem for a Dream" by Lux Aeterna, full orchestra version.
The footage is from gameplay on Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3. Mass Effect is owned by EA and BioWare
I do not own the music, nor the footage.
I just try to put them together and make them as entertaining as possible.

Gameplay is from a playthrough I did of a Paragon FemShep named Godiva Sheperd. Her LI is Liara.

I hope you enjoy!

I liked it. As a video it was nicely choreographed, good job there. As a song... the first 1/3 of it was rather sluggish but the final 3/3 really picked up, I liked that. I enjoy these music videos that don't rely entirely on the video to be relevant to the subject. In short, I like that you added dialogue from the games. I just felt you could had done a bit more with it, particularly for the first bit. It goes a rather long period of being silent which makes it a bit jarring when Shepard finally speaks up. Also saw a bit of lost potential in the ME3 section when you have the geth and quarians mention they'll help but no mention of turians or krogan. Having a collaboration of all the "we'll fight with you" from all the races would had been nice to emphasis the unity of the races, imo.

I liked it alright though. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next.

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. Yes, I agree I think I missed some good dialogue parts in the beginning. Unfortunately, that's because I didn't have recording program set up properly during ME1 and a lot of ME2, so it didn't record the in-game audio very well. I did also try to find some scenes in ME3 that had the Turians and Krogans agreeing to help but came to the conclusion that I must not have recorded any of those parts.  I'll have to be sure and pick them up in my renegade playthrough.

That was really good. I enjoy those sorts of videos as I used to make them myself a while back, my most popular being The Crow with a Smashing Pumpkins song, which had 6000+ views before someone decided to complain about the use of the music. So, that said, I know the time and effort that goes into making it all come together well, with properly timed pieces that coincide with parts of the music, so.. very well done. :-)

Thanks for reminding me of Requiem for a Dream, I'd nearly got that movie out of my head, now I'm going to get all depressed about it again. Excellent movie, but what a downer!

Thank you! I'm sorry to hear about what happened to your video.  I know how you feel, though, as several years ago I had an older youtube account with over a hundred music videos I'd made on it, and the entire thing got deleted by youtube.  So I've gotten to where I don't upload all of my videos anymore.

Gave me goosebumps. Really enjoyed it especially the ME3 section of the video.
