Whatever happen with them? I was hoping she would make a cameo in Mass Effect 3, but all we got was James making a indirect reference to her in the Citadel DLC.

Was that the asari?

Vega and Ashley can have a fling in the Citadel DLC, if Ashley is unromanced. So I'm guessing by the start of ME3 that Vega & Treeya are no longer seeing each other. It was probably just like most relationships, and it didn't last.

Hmm... I had forgot about that scene.

Actually Vega can hook up with Fem Shep as well. I had forgotten about that.

In any case it is never really said what happened with Treeya after the events of Paragon Lost. I guess we're just meant to assume that the relationship didn't last, and was over by the start of ME3.

What a waste. I really wanted to see how they would turn out, too. Call me crazy, but I dislike when characters are underused.

I think part of the problem was the Paragon Lost, despite being set before ME3, was released after it. ME3 came out in March of 2012 and Paragon Lost in December of the same year. It might be that at the time Mass Effect 3 was written that the character of Treeya hadn't been created yet. That's my bet at least...because Liara doesn't mention her either. You'd think she'd be one of the Shadow Broker assets by the start of ME3.

To be fair this isn't like Kahlee and Leng who both were introduced prior to ME3. Paragon Lost was released later in the year, after the release of ME3. I'm disappointed she didn't get any attention in the game either but it isn't unreasonable. If the movie came out first (which would had been better, imo, as it'd get us ready for James) I suspect she would have a /bit/ more attention in the game.

I've never watched the whole of Paragon Lost or read the book, but I've seen enough of it and read about it on here to get the gist of it.

In one of my favourite FanFics though, Treeya and James continue their romance and Treeya becomes an ad-hoc asset for Liara/Shadow Broker for the war effort.

It would've been nice to have found out one way or the other though.

I don't know, as I said I've never read it, but I assumed it was like the comics or something.

I also assume they wanted Vega available for romancing, you couldn't stick in an Asari lover into that, I guess you could. But Idon't think BW wanted to get into all that trouble.

At the very least she could have been used as war assets. For example when you scan Feros you get Shiala as a war asset; if you scan Fehl Prime you could get Treeya as a war asset. If not that then maybe an email or cameo perhaps? I think she would have been good to have James run into her at the refuge area. Kind of like how Shepard runs into Kelly.

The less said about Paragon Lost, the better.

Eh, Treeya was honestly the weakest link in the movie to me, I'm content that she wasn't mentioned. Her place in the story seemed to have been that they wanted a pseudo-romance for James, being the lead character, but, since James obviously doesn't mention any kind of relationship in ME3, they couldn't have anything stronger than something implied. So I was perfectly fine not seeing her or having her mentioned.

This is cute, coming from the guy who wrote the Bible.

Vega also inquires about Brookes at the beginning of the dlc.
