There's a few big problems with this games combat, the a.i, and the current tactical mode. For example if I attempt to let the a.i use a arcane warrior/knight enchanter they will not attempt to run up to enemies and use spirit blade on their own volition. The problem with that is that you can only give 1 command at a time to the a.i, its too much micromanagement to do that with the tactical mode and the player shouldn't be expected to do that.
There is another issue with dagger rogues. You can't move/attack at the same time while in tactical mode because there is no auto attack, also even taunted enemies seem to be aware that they are being flanked. They move around a lot. It makes trying to keep your rogue behind enemies a real pain with this tactical mode because I can't sequence a chain of commands to tell the rogue to move to X lcoation, then attack with this ability. It's kind of a disaster.
Unless I'm just completely ultra mega noob here and didn't find out how to sequence multiple commands with the tactical mode. If not, then they really need to add this in. The custom A.I controls are nonexistent in this dragon age version. Makes it impossible to enjoy the game unless you just basically solo it and let your a.i mates do whatever the hell they want which is basically what I've been doing on nightmare but it really isn't enjoyable at all compared to dragon age origins combat. I feel like the tactical mode is a completely useless afterthought in this game. It's too much micromanaging. We need to be able to give multiple commands to our party members with this tactical mode.
