The One who pointed his or her finger at Divinity: Original Sin here for me. It's the game I've waited for so long and somewhat I wanted from DA:I in the first place. Everything you can interact with and make choices about contributes to your character's roleplaying. And, thank God, tactical combat is there.

As I failed at getting any word from developer team on my feedback I guess I'll just take a leave for some time (waiting for patches and fixes is a waste at this point). Once things with DA:I get back into normal - I hope I'll catch with you, everyone :)

Cya folks!

There are bugs in Divinity Original Sin, you know ;)

It could happen that you cannot finish a quest, because you killed the guy to finish it for some other purpose as an example.

EVERYONE should get Divinity Original Sin. LEGIT! Buy it from Larian Studios direct! If you don't mind playing isometric (see Fallout) then you are gonna really miss a gem if you don't.

You know, speaking of game-breaking bugs... :D I've had my fair share in DA:I. Can't be worse anyway.

I'm getting my Witcher laid with everybody in the meantime. Couldn't be having more fun really. :D I'm kinda glad I was forced to look for an alternative to DA:I or I wouldn't have bothered with a new franchise. (new as in something I never played before).

Sorry, don't want to hurt myself with developer ignorance ... at least for now.

Just imagine a game, where you have a party of two characters from the start... which decide the leadership in dialogues! You encounter a situation, argue/agree with your companion, decide who's right and who's leading the party :) Well, nothing to add. Simply awesome.

Keep safe, get fun, friend :)

I absolutely loved DD. Much better than BD imo, but I'm also loving the newer ones as well. I actually have a very rare, signed developer DD edition, the one they released about four months post first release, with a huge booklet about the wonderful music, the composer, the game, the works. :)

I played it straight after release a couple of months ago and it is fun, but a lot different to Dragon Age. You are not epic, in fact you have no real faction but can join one of a few local guilds.

The end seemed a little rushed IMHO, but was OK. It is far from as long as Dragon Age titles, but a nice gem. Especially the idea to argue with your companion[s] (multiplayer or not) about decisions in a rock/paper/scissors minigame is interesting.

Have you actually played it?  I "tried" it for a few hours before committing my money, and the first hour or two was fantastic.  The best part of Divinity: OS is the polish.  It's almost like a TES game.  The combat system and elemental effects is also really nice.  The story and role playing however is what killed the game for me.  After the initial first impression, what I found was a hollow shell of a game that got bored VERY quickly.  The maps are extremely linear.  It's a decent PC RPG if you enjoy the tactical side more than the action and story that BW games are known for.  It's great for fans of Baldurs Gate 2 who were still waiting for something to come along and fill that void.

Divinity 2: The Dragon Knight Saga will always be the favorite of the 2 for me. I just loved the comedy in that game, not to mention the different ways you could complete quests and talk to NPCs.

I really should finish The Witcher 2... stopped somewhere in the first third of the game because I had no time...

Divinity: Original Sin is a blast. Very fun co-op (OK, I'll move the barrel over here on my turn and then you hit it with a fire arrow on your turn and set all this on fire etc. etc.). That said, I think DA:I is a blast too, so. :)
