Community challenge of killing a Mega Boss.
By that, I mean having one map with only the boss (or maybe some other enemies as well, but only one room) and making everyone from the community contribute damage till the boss kills them. The boss would have enough health to last around 10,000 rounds or so, depending on how many people will get involved for each community.
It would also mean, people will have a reason to play their level 20 characters instead of constant promoting.
Could also have a challenge with a reward system related to leaderboard. So, the people scoring highest in the leaderboard (1-100) would get better rewards than for example lower ranking people (1000-2000). Event relating to damage, kills, etc. It is kind of a controversial rewards system, as people with less time will score less. But this is an example to get people to play more rather than less. Could also do a tiered reward system.
One last point, make rewards different. For example: schematics, gold, random unique item(s) or even added stats (adding to stats you gain from prestiging).
