I have cleared Emprise du Lion and haven't gotten a FT faustian velet.  Well I did but not the one I wanted (the Hidden blade one).  Is there anywhere else I can go?  They stopped spawning since I captured the keep and I have no idea where is a good spot.  Please help, thanks.

They randomly spawn in certain locations(blue) in hissing wastes. 

 

 

 

On future playthroughs you can go through Emprise clear a camp, dont claim it and fast travel back to continually farm templars. You can actually 'skip' the first camp by clipping through the barricade and the second one by continually jumping onto the ledge.

I tried those spots and they are not respawning. Was it a mistake to talk to the slaves? I have tried to get them to respawn by reloading as well as going to a new area but no luck. Half the times it isn't even red Templars either.

I am starting to think I will have to settle for what I have.

Once you find a camp of Red Templars, save after killing them and just keep reloading. Sometimes it'll be empty, but if enemies DO spawn, they will be Red Templars. You can use the same technique to farm Venatori.

Personally though, when I want FT Plush Fustian Velvet or Dales Loden Wool, I farm the group of Red Templars in Emprise between Valeska's Watch and the Tower of Bone. They don't respawn, so save before you fight them and keep reloading until they drop what you want. The Red Templars in this group are human, not monsters, so you have a better chance of getting cloth - the Red Templars in the Hissing Wastes have a lot of Knights and Lurkers who only drop Red Lyrium.

The best place I found is the Quarry with the slaves in Emprise.  I saved the game prior to entering any of the 5 areas you have to clear for the quest.  Wipe out the 5 Templars (one of them only drops Red Lyrium), see what was dropped and if they didn't drop what I wanted (Hidden Blades Fade Touched item), I'd simply load from where I saved.  Took me about 30 minutes.  You can do this 5 times before the Quarry is cleared if you want 5 Fade Touched items.  Obviously you could simply get one of them and use the duplicate glitch but if you didn't, then that's the other option.

Its random, but what you can do is save right before entering the 'respawn zone' and continually save reload in place and eventually something will pop up be it a red templar group, the chantry sisters, or the hunters.

 

By far the best place to farm templars is Emprise du lion by killing them, and not claiming the camp. this is the only way to get 100% gauranteed respawn and farm valuables like dales loden wool(also WT mission for grifin keep), plush faustian velvet and pure red lyrium (third camp)

There's a pack that spawns randomly southeast of the Drakon camp in the EdL, just past one of those random arches. Stumbled into them yesterday while trying to farm FT silverite (got one, but not the one I wanted).
