we are doing the world a favor

the dalish are spreading lies of their culture and the history of the world

and as the inquisition it is our job to question and correct these truths!

plus there is nothing more fun that getting to kill Clans of elves.

In Origins we could do it [hell i was Dalish and killed another clan]

In DA2 I said screw it you guys are gunna get me up to my level so your are just chunks of XP.

But now we cant.

You'd think we could intimidate them into submission or eradicate them for their refusal.

Bioware are you getting too soft on the whole Elvhen genocides?

I mean sure you can kill the sentinels but it just doesnt have the same feel as slaughtering innocent near defenseless people.

But again the sentinels aren't dalish.

Also, do we have statistics of the playthroughs where the clans were killed?

like how many people killed merrill's clan in DA2?

DAI invalidates the Dalish's interpretation of Elven history.  Much more satisfying.

Don't worry; you're probably going to get an entire game or expansion based around that premise.

All because they're getting more dickish each game doesn't mean they all should be killed. Humbled, maybe, but not killed. Hopefully the Dread Wolf can slap them all back in line.

They held off on the Dalish slaughter in Inquisition for the benefit of the planned expansion, Dragon Age: Now We Get Serious About Killing All the Elves.

For all his skullduggery and brilliance, he is an incompetent f!ck up; he'll get them killed.

Why settle for the light beer of elves when you can go for the top shelf stuff? You can slaughter genuine elvhan rather than the cheap Dalish knock offs.

Hmm. I imagine waking up to find your people tattooing slave brands on their face and the rest serving noble shems, or living in slums...might make one reckless. Imagine you going to bed in America and waking up in some extremist-controlled military state.

I'd think you'd be a little cranky too.

It would be great if we got to kill the HoF next game.

The premise of the game is entirely his fault and he may be to blame for what happened to most of the Elven Gods. What can you do with such an incompetent, untrustworthy, and selfish individual?

He is going to get them killed. Intentionally or not.

I don't understand why we're blaming refugees for not remembering their culture after it's been eradicated.

That's because you don't get off on kicking a dog while he's down. Others... can't say the same for them. Just move on, nothing to see here folks. If you value your sanity, you'll avoid this thread and the incoming crowd it's bound to attract.

You'll thank me later. Op is obvious.

The Dalish get more stick than they deserve imo. I think they are going to get their teeth kicked in with the elven gods plot.

If it makes you feel better, OP, the Dalish Inquisitor can get their own entire clan killed via war table missions.

You can, very easily via the War Table. Your entire clan and no one will say anything about it.

You: That guy down in the courtyard of Skyhold going on and on about how it's all the elves' fault.

Us: The skeptical dwarf unfortunate enough to be in earshot.

Killing the Dalish is so ordinary, we can now do it via proxy. Next game, we'll end up fighting a random dragon in the woods, and the dragon will also set a nearby Dalish camp aflame.

In DA5, if you look closely, you can see a train of aravels careening off a cliff.

I saved my clan. Too bad I can't go to them and tell that all they knew was horribly wrong. And how Corypheus was being a **** and told me I wear slave markings proudly. That's just low...But still satisfying to let them know.

And maybe finally convince the Dalish to move the heck on.

Oh well...

Oh yes I remember them. I was like "Lavellan is right there!!!" I also wanted to hug that dwarf

@OP Hey buck up, considering the epilogue, you will probably have a DLC revolving around exterminating the elves.

Also, waiting for the "Dalish deserve to die" flame war to begin. *grabs popcorn*

Between werewolf curses and summoning demons like Imshael, aren't the Dalish already doing a pretty good job of exterminating themselves?

Dalish: This vallaslin is beautiful, but it makes my skin itch. What's in it?

Dalish 2: This lovely new metal that I purchased from a kindly dwarf. Old Tegrin I believe his name was.

Keeper: You son of a b*tch! This is mercury!
