FFS, elf-hate in elf-related thread is one thing, and this particular thread is quite peculiar, but if you guys have nothing to say on topic of elves and genocides and killing dalish clans or something at least vaguely related to those topics - please do get your butts to some cooking forum or something.

Who would eat a steak made from a Dalish elf (or elves since they are so small)?

 

Elves aren't built for steak, if you were to prepare them as a meal I'd suggest you take a page from Orlais and go with a recipe suitable for rabbit.

It's becoming a tiresome and predictable trope to slaughter elves and kick them whilst their down. I'm quite glad that Bioware didn't put a huge amount of focus on that sort of thing.

How is this not a true troll topic?

Troll topic would be something along the lines "Dalish elves deserve everything that happpens to them" with seemingly-serious justification that they actually have it coming and veiled conclusion that wiping out those clans is a good thing.

Or it could be - also in completely serious tone, without any obvious exaggerations - an attempt at painting Dalish as walking saints, with added outrage that the game lets you kill them.

Basically - topics designed to make some group furious and incite a flame war. The best troll topics can be hard to tell from serious threads dedicated to some controversial opinion.

But  "why couldn't we kill the dalish this time around" is hard to take seriously and it doesn't seem like it was ever meant to be taken this way - making it a joke thread, not a troll one.

Of course, it could be a really poorly done attempt at trolling - but I find it hard to believe when I read the first post

Humans are granted about a thousand different faces, while the elves have two that mostly sneer or growl. It's a sad state of affairs.
