I think the procedural maps are a good idea as they add replayability. I'd just like to see more variety so they are less predictable.

Some good feedback though, I hope they do invest more time and energy into this as it has the foundations to be something truly great.

Hmm, the other thread seems a bit fishy and doesn´t have any kittens, but this one isn´t official so I am really torn...

I heard that when there was a server glitch, and Kook's N7 rating dropped to 0, he disappeared from our dimension.

How about this? If players die in mp, they become kittens instead of being thrown into Fade, I think it's a good idea.

I'll tell you this... if people turned into kittens when they were crawling around on the ground, they would consistently get revived more, and faster!

The whole crawling is so humiliating anyway. And then you turn to ghost that no one else can even see! What kind of hunting is this?!

Could we make ghost mates visible? I think it would improve the morale of surviving players a lot if they have their dead friends following them around. They might even get some defense boost from being close to ghosts. Something like spectral protection or whatever.

How is this even possible?

My highest is Javelin VIII.

I don't blast space bad guys as much as I used to, but yeah I can't even fathom how some players  have maxed out weapon manifests. I get an ultra rare like maybe once every other month, if that.

How many hours have you put in, and what difficulty do you spend the most time in?

LOL!!

Or, how about downed players turn into nugs that meow, we can kill them again to receive extra gold, when we pick up the gold the player magically respawns.

540 hours 22minutes

Gold is my jam.

I mean I'm not complaining, just saying I like the loot system here better.

edit: Checking my manifest, my highest is Talon IX. Not including the Valiant X, which was given away in challenge packs. Still though.

Ah, that's not necessarily enough hours. I was under the impression you were playing it "full-time" for nearly 3 years and still hadn't maxed your weapons

That's the thing though. For like a year and a half I was playing "full time." At least as close as I could with work and all. With three dedicated gaming buddies. At least a few hours a night and more on the weekends. And my manifest is miles ahead of theirs.

Whereas I know others who have less playing time than me with more Ultra Rare X's.

Sorry, I've derailed the thread a bit. Just saying with the way BioWare has their RNG set up, I'd rather not grind my way to X again with fifty different weapons. Especially now that I have even less time to play with my gaming group, who also have other priorities (everyone seems to have babies at the same time).

Yeah, they definitely need to sort out player collision. I know technically it's not but it's so bad it actually feels like a bug that they need to fix. Which is why I didn't mention it. I made another thread addressing bugs - http://forum.bioware.../#entry18346243

But I'm not sure if removing collision all together is the best solution. I'm pretty sure ME3 had player collision. You just didn't bounce off each other. And with one player being able to block a doorway and the way we seem to ricochet off each other before we even make contact it seems our hitboxes are just way bigger than our character models.

Off topic observation: I've noticed husbands and wives tend to have babies at the same time. Curious.

I can't exactly complain about people derailing threads.

What I was getting at is that I have definitely got more than ten level 1 Raider Greatswords out of chests already. They are the ones that are so sh*t they are below the Inquisition Greatsword. If the loot system worked like ME3 that weapon would be out of the loot pool along with quite a few other low level weapons. But, like I said, with the loot system the way it is now I will still be getting level 1 Raider Greatswords two years from now. This system is even worse than ME3. Wouldn't you rather start getting Jars of Bees or Healing Mists than Raider Greatswords?

Yesterday I tried the multiplayer and I doubt I will come again. I've clocked 1000 hours of Mass Effect 3 and I was hoping the same amazing gamemode but it's not there.

Main issues: the camera and movement, it's terrible, in singleplayer is just perfect, I don't get why they don't clone it for multiplayer. I hate specially one problem, when players collide they spin a little bit, it's annoying.

Bugs, laggy matches, etc.

Only four special powers?, make it like campaign.

I'll admit that I was hoping MP would have the same TPS perspective as campaign, though I've gotten used to the game view. It would've been a closer match to ME3MP. Still, once I became familiar with it it's not too bad.

And I'm cool with the power bar. Eight powers would've been overkill for the MP enemies.

Need more stamina/mana otherwise 8 abilities would be useless. You'd never be able to use them all.

I honestly believe that so many terrible decisions were made because the devs didn’t want to be accused of just copying ME3. The problem is that ME3 spent 2 years figuring out how to do these things right. If you refuse to learn from someone who’s doing it right you end up doing it wrong.

I mostly agree with you. I do like the addition of crafting in theory, but the implementation of it leaves something to be desired. I wish DAI (both SP and MP) would have taken more of a page from Dark Souls and made it possible to upgrade even the most seemingly mediocre starting weapon or armor into a viable end-game piece of equipment. As it stands now, we just get wave after wave of junk thrown at us that we'll either never use, or use for five minutes before moving on to something better. There's no love shown to the moveset or asthetics of a weapon.

I think your statement I quoted seems to hold true. Unfortunately I'm pretty disappointed with DAMP. Thankfully the single player has held my interest, so I'm still getting a lot of enjoyment from the game, just not what I expected from the multi player after how much I played ME3.

@OP

I can't buy into most of your suggestions....so many seem, trivial.

Maybe YOU SHOULD get a job designing games so you could implement some of these "great ideas" (IYHO...)

The only suggestions you made that I can remotely agree with is to improve speed/fluidly of player movement. The collisions and rubber banding is quite obnoxious. Also making the loot system based on something other than RNG would've been nice, but I can live with the current system.

I can clear perilous with a character that has next to no promotions, and is wearing nothing but inquisition gear. Until BW gives us encounters/challenges which actually require good gear, I don't really give two craps about gear (aside from daggers for assassin...they make/brake the class). As things stand, better gear just seems to be for flexing your epeen.

I also won't shake my head at new maps, but I have zero issue with the current ones.

Remove crafting???? The hell!?!?!!? No thanks. Back in DA:O days, we fought to get crafting put into DA, and now you want to take it out???

Most of your other gripes seem very cosmetic related...which is trivial IMO.

I understand the general complaint of "this product isn't working the way it says it should"....but I'll never understand the armchair designer perspective of "well, this isn't exactly how I would have donr things, what they SHOULD have done was this...that would allow ME to enjoy the product more."

Extreme example, but it's like buying a car, then being upset it doesn't fly. "What they should have done was put wings on it, that would make it way better. If I ever made a car, that's how I would make my car..." Lol m'kay then.

Everybody agrees to this. Every - single - one.

[...] I'm pretty sure ME3 had player collision. You just didn't bounce off each other. [...}

Oh boy - those people who would squeeze in YOUR RHA spot? You never had them? That guy blocking the essential dodge to keep you safe? Not as bad as in DAMP but enough to get me annoyed sometimes.

So, seeing the dead improves your morale?
