Would like to know as well. This doesn't happen to me too often, but I've also had 2-3 in a day.
Pending the fix, one thing I do (which may or may not be helpful to you) is: before I turn off the XB1, I go to the desktop and manually quit the game. Overall stability has been good for the most part with this method.
BW, please advise if this is a known issue to you and if it will be addressed on the coming patch for XB1, or a future patch.
Note: I am currently playing the vanilla MP, having uninstalled DAMP DLC pending fixes.

Is this caused by the game or the console itself? I'm finding the One to be unreliable at times...

Personally, I think it's the game. I have yet to have other games CTD. Have played Titanfall, BF4, Destiny (yeah, I know), and none of those CTD'd on me.
Now, let me ask other XB1 player this: It seems to me that the CTD may be a cascade effect. I say this because when it happens, sometimes a player appears to leave the game, then another a few minutes later, then I CTD a few minutes later. Has anyone (host or not) noticed this? Or it could simply be they had to go for some reason... and I'm reading too much into this.

I've had it on Titanfall and a couple of other games. It's the game freezing, the system closes the game instead of locking up entirely like the Xbox 360 forcing you to restart the console.

It's a problem, definitely. I assume that it's the game, but I only have 2 games for XBone. One of them has never had the problem, and DA:I has the problem... rarely, but often enough to be an issue.
I'm guessing that it relates to active memory, but that's because the one thing I have noticed that seems to coincide with the crashes is when I make a rapid switch or change while the game is in the middle of an animation or something.

On PC, I get the crash to desktop with multiplayer only, no error messages, just straight up closed and desktop. It usually happens when i'm trying to join a game. I've had it happen mid-battle but I think turning off origin overlay helped with that occurrence of happening. So, I think the crash for PC and X1 could be related.
Single-player - no crashes.

I'd put money on it being the game.

You guys are right, usually when it happens to one it happens to 1-2 more in the team either at the same time or shortly after. I haven't had this problem once with any other game I have. I've even deleted games I'm not playing make space, my XB1 is only 60something% full so memory shouldn't be an issue. Would just be nice to know wether this is something that's being addressed with the upcoming patch.

Other games dont have this issue. Even the DAI SP is much more stable - I dont think it crashed on me yet. The MP crashes pretty much every few matches. Is this caused by the game or the console itself? I'm finding the One to be unreliable at times...
I doubt even the highly criticized Ubisoft games were that bad.

It's definitely the game, not the platform. I had 2 crashes today. One was just loading into my first match and the other just after a weapon cache/scroll/heirloom upload.
The thing about that is, if they can't recreate it, then they can't patch it.

Technical issues shouldn't go here, but the EA HQ. Just FYI.

Thanks for the verifications folks. I know the XB1 is not perfect of course, but I really do think DAI is the problem in this case.

The OP is actually asking the community for clarification, so that he understands what is happening. It makes perfect sense to ask in here (and got him an answer much faster than Answer HQ would have.)

No offense to him or to you, but it clutters this forum. If everyone went and reported their Technical issues on the Answers HQ site, both Bioware and ourselves would be much better off.
I realize the OP is posting here because we have recent dev sitings, but in all honesty the process is there for a reason.
(I work with escalations all day for a multi billion dollar multinational Company that isn't EA but is in the tech industry, so I might be biased because I see alot of cases where the process isn't followed which then results in a poor experience by customers)

1. RTC dies but won't go away, match can't end.
2. Zone 5 the "ground" is visible but the stone/building parts are invisible and you can see through the level. Level will be playable but will also not finish.

Had two other issues, are these known/common or something that is an abberation?

Quick question: are you experiencing this with or without the Destruction DLC?
Playing vanilla DAMP, I have not experienced either of these bugs. Wondering if any have experienced these in vanilla DAMP?

I'm going to continue to encourage people to ask their questions in here. If someone wants to understand if an issue is with their game, or their system, I understand that, and think this is the right place to get a fast answer to it. It's what the forum is for, in part, and I don't blame anyone for using it for its intended purpose.

I have no idea what you are talking about.
Seriously though I'm really not even trying.
